The Ba Đình district isn’t exactly where you’d think to look for a luxury spot, but that’s actually what makes this place so brilliant. You’re tucked away in this quiet residential street that most tourists never discover, yet you’re literally a ten-minute walk from the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum and the Temple of Literature. I mean, you get all the cultural heavyweight stuff without the chaos of staying right in the Old Quarter.

What really got me was how they’ve managed to create this spa retreat vibe while keeping that authentic homestay feel. The moment you step inside, there’s this immediate sense of calm – and I’m not just talking about escaping Hanoi’s motorbike symphony outside. The interiors have this warm, lived-in elegance that feels more like staying at a well-traveled friend’s place than a hotel. The spa facilities are genuinely impressive too, which honestly surprised me given the size of the property. After spending days wandering around Hanoi’s packed streets, having access to proper massage therapy right where you’re staying is… well, it’s kind of perfect timing-wise.

You know what really sets this place apart though? The staff actually know the neighborhood. Not just the obvious tourist spots, but where to grab the best bún chả at 6 AM (there’s a tiny place two blocks over that opens crazy early), which temple is worth visiting at sunset, that sort of local intel you can’t Google. The 9.2 rating makes total sense when you experience this level of personal attention. Sure, it’s not going to have the lobby grandeur of those big international chains near Hoàn Kiếm Lake, but if you’re looking for somewhere that feels more authentic to actual Vietnamese hospitality – and you want to explore a side of Hanoi that most visitors miss – this is your spot. Plus, parking is actually manageable here, which anyone who’s tried to navigate a car around the Old Quarter will appreciate.

  This was the comfiest bed I’ve slept on in Vietnam! The room was a good size and the facilities were great.
  
  What could be improved: We had a couple cockroaches in the bathroom I think this area might require more detail cleaning. It was also quite far out of old town so we rented a moped.

  Amazing place to stay in Hanoi if you want to be a bit away from the hectic Old Quarter and take some time to chill. The homestay is located above the spa that has the same name, and both places are gems !
  It’s one of the best homestay we stayed in Vietnam, prices are very reasonable for the quality you get : rooms are extremely clean, very spacious, beds have great quality mattress, the decoration is tasteful, and we had quality sleep there because the streets are very calm and the homestay very quiet.
  We even extended our stay and had the chance to try others rooms that were also perfect !
  Nadian and the rest of the staff were absolutely lovely and were very caring to make us spent a wonderful stay, and answered all our requests.
  
  The location is also great, near charming districts with very nice coffee shops, and places to eat !
  
  And of course we enjoyed quality massages there.
  
  We had a wonderful stay, we 100% recommend this place to enjoy Hanoi and chill !

  Stayed for two nights with my husband and it was very comfortable. It's right at the edge of the city center so it's a comfortable walk in and far enough from all the noise for a peaceful sleep. We found it very clean, the host gave very good instructions and it had everything we needed. I would stay here again.

  We’ve been to Hanoi many times and I must say this was a great comfortable stay. The staff were very friendly and we had everything that we needed, the room itself was very spacious (esp for Hanoi!) it was clean and well presented.

  Super clean and well taken care of room. Comfortable large bed, big room, modern TV with all on-demand services integrated. Walking distance from Old Quarter with some nice cafes and beauty salons on the way. Super helpful staff, they helped arrange our travel and gave advice on whatever we asked, also before arrival via WhatsApp.
  
  What could be improved: The room is very humid even when it’s not that humid outside, clothes got damp and couldn’t dry. After SPA opening hours entry through back alley only.

  Everything was perfect. The staff was so kind and caring, as well as flexible (we could let our bags to the reception and pick it up after). We wanted to stay longer and they were so accommodating. We even extended our stay there for the whole time we were in Hanoï.
  The place is big, the bed comfy, the bathroom has space and is clean, the water of the shower is warm. The area is perfect (20mn by walk from the center, so it's near from it) and so calm. We slept well, without the noises that are usually in the center.
  The place was well furnished, and we even had Netflix if needed.
  
  It was the best place where we have stayed in Vietnam, and if we come back in Hanoï, we will for sure come back there!
  
  We are very thankful to the owner and the staff for being so caring.
  
  What could be improved: During our stay, there were construction noises in the morning near our place, but with earplugs it was perfectly fine. It wasn't a big thing.
