But Aspaces at Vinhomes West Point actually surprised me in the best way possible. It’s tucked up on the fifth floor of the W1 building, and you know what hits you first? How incredibly quiet it is once those elevator doors close behind you. This is Nam Tu Liem district we’re talking about – usually buzzing with motorbike traffic and construction noise – but somehow they’ve managed to create this little oasis above it all.

The thing about staying in Me Tri is that you’re actually in a sweet spot most tourists don’t know about. You’re close enough to the airport that you won’t stress about early flights (maybe 20 minutes in normal traffic), but you’re also genuinely living where locals live. There’s this massive Lotte Mall practically next door when you need familiar comforts, and honestly, some of the best pho I had in Hanoi was from a tiny place just a few blocks away on Pham Hung street – the kind of spot you’d never find unless you were staying in the neighborhood. The apartment itself feels more like someone’s well-appointed home than a hotel room. The kitchen actually works (I made coffee every morning and even attempted some Vietnamese-style scrambled eggs), and there’s enough space that you don’t feel like you’re living out of a suitcase. The Wi-Fi is solid – I had video calls with zero issues – and the air conditioning runs whisper-quiet, which matters more than you’d think during Hanoi’s sticky summer months.

What really sold me, though, was how the staff handled the little things. When I mentioned I was having trouble figuring out the local bus routes, the front desk guy didn’t just point me toward a tourist map – he actually walked me downstairs and showed me exactly which bus stop to use and how to pay with the app. That 9.2 rating isn’t just numbers on a screen; it comes from dozens of interactions like that. The only tiny complaint I’d have is that the building’s main entrance can get a bit chaotic during rush hours (lots of residents coming and going), but once you’re upstairs, it’s all calm and professional. If you’re looking for something that feels more authentic than the Old Quarter hotels but still gives you proper amenities and English-speaking staff, this place hits that balance perfectly.

  Very clean and well managed. Staff very friendly and supportive. Also pretty safe and good facilities like swimming pool and the gym. Breakfast is good as well, specially if you're into Asian food.

  I visited again after a year.
  Thank you still for the great facilities and kind response.
  Breakfast was simple, but it was nice to be able to enjoy it.
  In particular, I was satisfied with the clean and care of the room every day.

  Also, the towels provided in the bathroom sometimes had foreign substances on them,

  Good, nice, welcoming staff. The apartment was clean with the exception of below, what we didn't like. Place has a great view with shops below for needed necessities such as water, snacks, and milk for toddlers. Price was good. Would get better points if not for the negative.
  
  What could be improved: Room had a few small roaches. Makes it uncomfortable as it came out of nowhere. Air conditioning vents also need to be cleaned and it didn't provide good air flow to living room but bedrooms we're ok. Cause condensation and it could've been more efficient and cooler.
