The rooms themselves have this clean, modern thing going on without feeling sterile, and honestly, the beds are better than they have any right to be. I’ve stayed in places twice the price where I woke up feeling like I’d been wrestling with the mattress all night. Here, you actually sleep. The bathrooms are solid too – good water pressure, which anyone who’s traveled in this part of the world knows isn’t always a given.

For Tay Ho, especially right on Xuan Dieu, you’re getting solid value and a location that puts you in the middle of one of Hanoi’s most livable neighborhoods. It’s the kind of place where you can actually settle in for a few days and feel like you’re experiencing the city, not just passing through it.
