What really won me over was the location, and I mean that in ways the booking sites don’t really capture. Sure, Phạm Hùng is this major boulevard, but you’re positioned right where the action is without being stuck in the Old Quarter madness. The Keangnam Landmark Tower is practically next door – handy if you need to do any business stuff – and honestly, the whole My Dinh area has this energy that feels like Hanoi’s future happening right now. The apartment-style rooms are genuinely spacious (not just “spacious for Asia” spacious), and the kitchenette situation is perfect if you want to grab some ingredients from the local markets and actually cook something. I mean, hotel breakfast is fine and all, but sometimes you just want to make your own coffee the way you like it. The soundproofing is surprisingly good too – Phạm Hùng can get pretty busy, especially during rush hour, but I slept like a baby most nights.
