I’ll be honest – when I first walked into the Acoustic Premium Hotel & Spa on Thợ Nhuộm Street, I wasn’t expecting much from the narrow entrance squeezed between the typical Old Quarter shophouses. But man, was I wrong. The moment you step inside, it’s like entering a completely different world from the motorbike chaos outside. The lobby has this really calming vibe with warm wood tones and soft lighting that actually makes you want to linger instead of just rushing to your room.

What really got me was how they’ve managed to create this peaceful sanctuary literally in the heart of Hanoi’s busiest district. You’re maybe a three-minute walk from Hoan Kiem Lake – and I mean the actual lake, not just “near the lake area” like some places claim. The soundproofing is incredible, which honestly makes sense given the hotel’s name. I was on the fourth floor facing the street, and even with all the usual Old Quarter street life happening below (vendors calling out, motorbikes honking, the works), I could barely hear anything once I closed the windows. The spa part isn’t just a fancy add-on either – they’ve got this gorgeous treatment room on the top floor where you can actually see glimpses of the lake between the buildings while getting a massage.

The rooms themselves feel way more spacious than you’d expect from an Old Quarter hotel, and the bathroom… well, let’s just say after a day of walking around Hanoi’s humid streets, that rainfall shower hits different. The staff genuinely seems to know the neighborhood inside and out – they pointed me toward this tiny bun cha place on Hang Manh that I never would’ve found otherwise, and it ended up being one of my best meals in Vietnam. You know what else I appreciated? They actually have a proper elevator, which sounds silly until you’ve stayed at some of the other historic buildings around here where you’re hauling your luggage up four flights of narrow stairs. The whole place just feels thoughtfully designed by people who understand what travelers actually need, not what looks good in photos. With a 9.5 rating, I was expecting it to be good, but it exceeded even those high expectations – and in the Old Quarter, where every other building seems to be a hotel trying to capitalize on the location, that’s saying something.

  I absolutely loved my stay at Acoustic Hotel & Spa!! From the moment I arrived, the kindness and attentiveness of the staff stood out, they went above and beyond to make me feel welcome and cared for.
  
  The room was stunning and luxurious, and the hair salon was really nice for a hair wash. The breakfast was excellent, with plenty of fresh options western and vietnamese.
  
  Loved the short walk to Train Street! Highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for comfort, convenience, and outstanding service in Hanoi.
  
  What could be improved: Nothing – I loved everything about this hotel.

  The room was spacious and comfortable. The staff was friendly and professional and entertained us even though we checked in late at night. Our room was at a newly built building beside the actual boutique hotel but accessibility to the next building where the dining facility is, was convenient by taking a lift and crossing over to the next building. The food was relatively good. The hotel was situated in the heart of Hanoi City which was convenient to find restaurants and shopping malls. I would highly recommend others to book the Royal Suite for a great stay and the room was reasonably priced for the duration of the stay. We had paid airport shuttle service provided to the airport.

  A very luxurious, premium hotel.
  
  The staff are exceptionally professional yet friendly. Knowledgeable and generous, they guided us to good local places and foods.
  
  We took up the discounted spa treatment and had a much needed Vietnamese massage.
  
  Kim welcomed us and Luca saw us on our way. Both are wonderful staff.

  We were really happy with the hotel: The staff was super friendly and very helpful during our stay. The room was very nice and big. Breakfast was also very nice, especially the view from the breakfast place.

  We stayed here after backpacking in hostels for 2 weeks and could not fault anything in the whole experience. The staff could not have been kinder and more accommodating. We had a very late flight the day we left and were still able to use all facilities, store luggage and even use the showering facilities. The restaurant was brilliant and the sky bar was lovely at the end of every day. The beds were comfy and the room was spacious. We were even greeted with welcome drinks and fruit in both the reception and the room.

  Sparkling clean, amazing service and attitude from the staff, good location in busy area with some nice coffee shop across the street and plently of shops and cafes around, in just 5min walk to major even busier areas and everything you want to see around. Really a good place to stay in Hanoi center – if you find price good for you, book it, will be good. We were family with 2 kids and we got all the extra beds, a bit more special attention in breakfast and very attentive and supportive staff overall. Hotel also helped us to book transfers to airport and halong at reasonable price, just a bit more than grab and helped to navigate around at least seemed with no hidden agenda. It was also very easy to communicate thru what's app even if not at hotel to ask for some advise. It's Vietnam – everyone ask for good reviews, but this review is not because of that – it was really good stay – we had the Royal Suite which consists of 2 big with 1 king size bed and sofa in other room, with possibility to add extra bed and baby cot, and 2 bathrooms was amazing addition for our group for 5 night stay. If you look for a comfy stay for they also have same 2 rooms config with king bed + 2 twin beds in other room called family Suite. Breakfast was good, enough and there was choice, wifi worked perfectly for voice calls. Noise from street was not too load, so ok in here as well. Go for it, it's a perfect base to explore Hanoi. And special thank you to hotell managing team to help as with change of booking dates due to travel plan changes, really appreciate that. See you next time when in Hanoi!
