The location on Nguyễn Phúc Lan is… well, it’s one of those spots that makes you feel like you’ve discovered something the tour groups haven’t figured out yet. You’re right in Tay Ho, which means you can walk to the lake when you need to escape the motorbike symphony (and trust me, you will), but you’re also close enough to the action that grabbing a late-night pho or finding a decent coffee shop isn’t a mission. The staff seemed genuinely surprised when I mentioned I’d walked from the Old Quarter – apparently most guests just grab a taxi, but honestly, the walk gives you a better sense of how the neighborhoods connect. Plus, you’ll pass this little bánh mì stand that’s absolutely worth the detour.

What struck me most was how they’ve managed to create something that feels upscale without being stuffy. The lobby has this clean, modern vibe – sort of minimalist but not cold, you know? And the rooms… look, I’ve stayed in plenty of 4-star places that feel like they’re trying too hard to impress. This one just works. The bed was actually comfortable (not just Instagram-pretty), the shower had proper water pressure, and – this might sound weird – but the air conditioning was quiet enough that I could sleep without earplugs.
