You’re high enough to see across this whole section of northern Hanoi, and in the evenings when the light hits just right, it’s actually pretty spectacular.

The practical stuff matters too, and this is where staying in Vinhomes Ocean Park shows its strengths. There’s proper security – you’re not worrying about your stuff when you head out to explore the city. The building management is professional in that efficient Vietnamese way, and I never had issues with elevators or basic services. Getting around from here requires a bit of planning since you’re not walking to Hoan Kiem Lake, but the trade-off is space, quiet, and honestly, a much better night’s sleep than you’d get in the tourist center. Grab services reach here no problem, and there’s a decent mall and restaurants in the complex itself for when you don’t feel like venturing out. The whole experience feels more like temporarily living in Hanoi rather than just visiting it – which, depending on what you’re after, might be exactly what you need. It’s gotten consistently high ratings for a reason, and after staying here, I get why people keep coming back to this specific unit.

  The place was very nice and spacious, really liked the projector that was cool. It was great we could use the gym and the outdoor spaces. It’s in a bit of a strange like “Barbie village” has everything you need but is a bit distopian – if you are looking to be in Hanoi be aware this is 30mins out by Grab
