You’re close enough to the action (the Old Quarter’s maybe 15 minutes by taxi, depending on traffic), but far enough away that you can actually sleep at night without motorbike horns going off constantly.
Getting around from here is actually pretty easy once you figure out the grab bike situation. The host was helpful with directions – not overly chatty, just gave me the info I needed and let me do my thing. Check-in was smooth, no drama with keys or anything like that. The building itself is quiet, which I appreciated after spending time in busier parts of the city. I could hear some street sounds during the day, but nothing that bothered me. Honestly, it felt authentic without being rough around the edges.
