Look, I’ve stayed at my fair share of business hotels in Hanoi, and honestly? The Grand K Hotel Suites on Pham Van Bach Street surprised me in the best possible way. You know that feeling when you walk into a lobby and immediately think “okay, this place gets it” – that’s exactly what happened here. The whole setup feels more like a sophisticated apartment building than your typical tourist hotel, which makes sense since you’re actually in Cau Giay district where real Hanoians live and work.

What I really loved about this spot is how it sits right in that sweet spot between being away from the Old Quarter chaos but still connected to everything that matters. Pham Van Bach isn’t one of those streets tourists usually know about, but it’s perfectly positioned – you can grab a taxi to Hoan Kiem Lake in about fifteen minutes (depending on traffic, which, well, it’s Hanoi), but you’re also walking distance from some genuinely good local pho joints that haven’t been discovered by every travel blogger yet. The Yen Hoa Ward area has this lived-in energy that I actually prefer to staying right in the tourist bubble. You’ll hear motorbikes in the morning, sure, but it’s the real soundtrack of the city, not the honking chaos you get closer to the center.

The suites themselves – and they really are proper suites, not just regular rooms with fancy names – have this clean, modern vibe without feeling sterile. I mean, the bathroom alone was bigger than some entire hotel rooms I’ve stayed in around Southeast Asia. What struck me most was how thoughtfully everything was laid out; there’s actually counter space in the kitchenette (revolutionary concept, I know), and the living area doesn’t feel like an afterthought. The staff seemed genuinely happy to help rather than just going through the motions, which honestly makes such a difference when you’re trying to navigate a city like Hanoi. Check-in was smooth, they spoke excellent English, and – this might sound silly but it matters – the WiFi actually worked consistently throughout the room, not just near the window like so many places. The 8.7 rating makes total sense once you’ve been there a day or two; it’s not trying to be flashy or Instagram-perfect, but everything just… works. If you’re the type who wants to experience Hanoi like someone who actually lives here rather than just passing through, this is your spot.

  This hotel is located a bit far from the city center, which is exactly what I was looking for, since Hanoi's center is very busy and noisy even late at night. Although not so close, Hanoi's main attractions are easily reachable by car or motobike (about 20 minutes by car). The staff is helpful and fast in finding solutions to attend the guest's needs. The rooms are large and comfortable, with great A/C. The breakfast is amazing and has an impressive variety of options. I would easily stay here again.

  Everyyhing is great. It has views, good food selection, comfirtable and spacious rooms, self-catering, nice pool, nice gym, safe and luxury-feel.

  Great location and a very nice hotel.
  
  What could be improved: The gym was closed for the entire time for renovation and we did not know that until arrival.

  Very comfortable stay. We’ve booked the hotel for one night before our flight back. We wanted to stay somewhere closer to the airport.
  I wish I booked this hotel previously before our trip to Halong. We stayed on one of smaller hotels in the city centre and it was very uncomfortable, noisy.
  If you decide to explore Hanoi or have the trip from Hanoi please don’t stay in the old quarters of Hanoi. Instead stay in this hotel and just take a taxi there which hotel staff could organise for you.
  The rooms are very spacious, the beds snd pillows are comfortable, good buffet breakfast.
