The weekend night market sprawls practically to your doorstep, and I found myself grabbing bánh mì from the same vendor three mornings in a row (the one with the tiny plastic stools, not the fancier cart). The 8.9 rating makes sense when you’re there – it’s not trying to be the flashiest place in Hanoi, but the details work. Hot water that’s actually hot, Wi-Fi that doesn’t cut out every ten minutes, and beds that understand the difference between firm and punishing. Plus, the soundproofing is better than most places in the quarter manage, which means you get the energy of the neighborhood without feeling like you’re sleeping in the middle of Hàng Đào’s morning motorbike symphony.

  It was central location, quiet off the street and very easy to find. We had a late check in and the Homestay was very communicative and made sure to give us the best directions possible. Even though we were late they were onto helping us. List of space and would be fun for a family with younger kids as there is a cool upstairs area with bed they would love.

  Host was amazing. I arrived back from ha giang loop at 3am, I called her and she came to let me in and show me around. Room is very spacious, all amenities mentioned were supplied and bed was comfy. Bathroom is across the hall but not shared and very big.

  Honestly, extended it several days because it was the perfect little spot!

  The owner is one of the friendliest hosts I have yet to book through Booking.com

  What could be improved: The only downside is that the bathrooms aren't directly attached to the room itself, but honestly was still an excellent one.
