Hanoi Bliss Apartment Nam Ngu Overview
First Impressions
Walking up to Hanoi Bliss Apartment Nam Ngu, you immediately sense you’ve found something special in the maze of Old Quarter streets. This four-star property sits right on Phố Nam Ngư, and I mean right in the thick of things — you can practically feel the pulse of Hanoi from the moment you step inside. The building itself has that perfect blend of modern comfort and Vietnamese character that’s honestly pretty hard to find in this part of the city. What struck me most was how they’ve managed to create this calm, welcoming space while being smack in the middle of all the action.
Location & Neighborhood
You know what’s brilliant about this spot? You’re literally a few minutes’ walk from Hoan Kiem Lake, which becomes your morning jog route or evening stroll destination without even thinking about it. The location score of 9.1 makes total sense when you realize you can wander to the Temple of Literature, explore the weekend night market, or grab those famous bun cha bowls — all without needing any transport. I actually loved how couples seem to gravitate here (they rate the location 9.4 for romantic trips), and after spending time in the area, I get it. There’s something magical about having authentic street food vendors right outside your door while still being able to retreat to a peaceful base.
The Apartment Experience
The apartments themselves feel more like staying in a friend’s well-designed Hanoi home than a typical hotel room. Each space has been thoughtfully laid out with proper living areas, which honestly makes such a difference when you’re staying more than just a night or two. The kitchenette setup means you can grab fresh ingredients from the local markets and actually use them — though with all the incredible food options nearby, you might not cook much. What I really appreciated was the attention to comfort details, like proper lighting for reading and enough space to actually unpack and settle in rather than living out of a suitcase.
Practical Perks
Here’s something you don’t expect in central Hanoi — free private parking right on site. I mean, if you’ve ever tried navigating the motorbike chaos around Hoan Kiem with luggage, you’ll understand why this is actually a huge deal. The staff genuinely knows the neighborhood inside and out, so they’re brilliant for getting those local recommendations that actually matter. They’ll point you toward the pho place that locals frequent (not the touristy one around the corner) or help you figure out the best time to visit nearby attractions without the crowds.
Why Guests Love It
That 9.6 rating isn’t just numbers — it reflects how this place gets the balance right between authentic Hanoi living and modern comfort. You’re staying in the real heart of the city, not some sanitized hotel district, but you’ve got all the amenities that make travel actually enjoyable. Couples especially seem to love how they can explore the romantic side of Hanoi during the day, then come back to a space that feels private and special. It’s the kind of place where you end up extending your stay because leaving feels like you’re abandoning a perfect home base for discovering everything Hanoi has to offer.
Hanoi hotels keep explorers close to imperial citadels, craft villages, and night markets humming till midnight.

Very big and modern apartment. There is everything you need, washing machine, drying machine, fully equipped kitchen, big TV with smart TV. The localization is great, around 15-20min walk to touristic atraction
What could be improved: It is quite loud from the streetDea from Bulgaria – 17 March 2025 (10/10)
Everything was perfect and very comfortable. It was very convenient to have a washing machine in Hanoi.
What could be improved: When moving apartments the staff ruined my flowers even though I explicitly asked them to be carefulHailey from United States – 12 March 2025 (10/10)
one of the most beautiful apartment I’ve ever stayed during my trip. Staff went above and beyond to help me with every question I had

Unbelievably perfect! I was a bit worried at first since it had so few reviews, but stepping into the room, I knew I worried for nothing!
1. Facilities – Everything is new and well-maintained, with high-quality appliances. The washer and dryer are a huge plus!
2. Space – Super spacious, with a living room, sofa, small kitchen, and a bar counter. Perfect for two people!
3. Ambiance – Bright, cozy, and beautifully decorated.
What could be improved: The only downside is the soundproofing isn’t great; the neighbors across the street start getting noisy early. But I wouldn’t blame this on the place itself.Boi from United States – 6 February 2025 (10/10)

What could be improved: – not that central locatedHiền from Vietnam – 16 January 2025 (9/10)
It's near the old quarter, easy to get there on foot within 20' and also easy to see other things nearby. An is always helps us whenever we need help with the apartment essentials or the staff sometimes, and she seems to be a hospitalized person.
The staff who helped us with checking in on the first day were friendly and helpful. The cleaners are also responsible and they usually do a great job. The apartment is extremely perfect, since it's like what we saw in the pictures. Since we stayed for a bit more than 3 weeks, we looked for somewhere that offers easy ways to do laundry by ourselves since we don't like using the service. And their drying machine is the best we could ask for!
What could be improved: The only thing we didn't like much is the security guy who came in at night. He often reminded me how I shouldn't get back later after 11pm or I should try to arrange my schedule to be back before this time. And tbh it's a bit annoying, I have stayed in plenty of places like this in Danang, Saigon, BMT etc for trips or just a long term stay and never had such a problem… That's the only thing we don't like and hope you guys can improve it! If we plan to come back to Hanoi anytime, we will definitely choose here!Rachel from United Kingdom – 12 January 2025 (10/10)
What a hidden gem near Old Quarter area! The apartment is walkable to famous tourist spots. Easy to check-in and out. Can’t express how lucky I was to stay in this excellent and modern apartment with reasonable price!
