One small thing though – the elevator is tiny, so if you’re traveling with massive suitcases, you might need to make two trips. The front desk folks are genuinely helpful too, not just polite – they helped me figure out the best route to avoid traffic when heading to the airport, and actually called ahead to confirm my early morning taxi pickup. For the price point and location, especially with that 9-rating reflecting what other travelers experienced, it’s honestly hard to beat. You’re getting four-star comfort in the absolute center of Hanoi’s most interesting neighborhood, with staff who seem to actually care about making your stay work.

  The location is superb, and the bedrooms are of good size. We had a room with balcony and we could see the busy street from the balcony. The egg and noodle station in the breakfast was excellent. Overall it was such a good value and the manager Anna helped us a lot.
  
  What could be improved: When arriving, we were told that if we have to pay by credit card there would be a 3 percent extra charge. Didn't expect that coming. If we were informed earlier, we could have prepared the cash or choose the pay in advance.

  We got free upgrade to the room with terrace balcony. Staff is very nice, greeting us everytime we passby the reception. Room is big and comfortable.
