Speaking of the area, you’re basically in expat central here, so there’s this interesting mix of Vietnamese local life and international cafes where you can get decent coffee and wifi that actually works. The neighborhood gets busy during weekend evenings when everyone heads to the lakeside bars, but during the day it’s got this relaxed, almost residential vibe that I found really appealing.

Look, an 8.6 rating and 4 stars might sound like marketing speak, but after staying here, those numbers actually feel about right. It’s not trying to be the fanciest place in Hanoi – and that’s honestly part of its charm. You’re getting solid comfort, a genuinely useful location (close to West Lake but not right in the tourist chaos), and the kind of setup where you can actually live a bit like a local instead of just passing through. The only thing I’d mention is that like most places in this part of town, you’ll want to be comfortable with Vietnamese-style apartment living – it’s clean and well-maintained, but it’s got that lived-in feel rather than hotel sterility. For some people that’s exactly what they want, for others maybe not so much. But if you’re looking to experience Hanoi from more of a resident’s perspective rather than the typical tourist bubble, this spot delivers on that pretty well.

  Nice, modern, clean and well equipped apartment, located right in the middle of Tay Ho quarter, yet hidden in an alley, away from the noise and the chaos typical for Hanoi. Not the cheapest place to crash in town, but worth every Dong. Will book again.

  For me personally I loved the facility and the location. I did not use the kitchen but it looked adequately equipped. I did use and appreciated the clothes washer and dryer. The bathroom was equipped with a very deep bathtub (which I don’t prefer) so you need to be extremely careful exiting the tub and stepping onto the smooth slippery tile. Forget using the balcony; very small and not a good view from the lower floors.
  
  The neighborhood was very walkable and had many good restaurants and coffee shops; local and international foods. Everything else I could want was a short scooter ride away. A very nice spa is a 5 minute walk down the alley.
  
  I initially had trouble finding the unit but a quick message to the manager solved that and he was easily reached every time during my two week stay.
  
  What could be improved: Deep bath tub & tiny balcony without a view.
