Luxe Paradise Residence 32 To Ngoc Van Overview
Honestly, I wasn’t expecting much when I first pulled up to the Luxe Paradise Residence on Tô Ngọc Vân – the name sounds a bit over-the-top, you know? But this little 4-star spot actually surprised me in the best way. It’s tucked right in the heart of Tay Ho, which locals will tell you is where Hanoi’s expat community hangs out, and there’s something really refreshing about staying somewhere that feels connected to actual neighborhood life rather than just tourist central.
The location is honestly perfect if you want to experience Hanoi like someone who actually lives here. You’re a quick walk from West Lake (Hồ Tây), and I mean really quick – maybe three minutes to the water where you’ll see locals doing their morning tai chi at sunrise. The street itself is pretty quiet compared to the chaos of the Old Quarter, but you’re still close enough to grab a xe om (motorbike taxi) and be in the thick of things in fifteen minutes. What I really loved was how easy it was to find good local food – there’s this incredible bún chả place just two blocks down that the hotel staff pointed me to, and honestly, it was better than anything I had in the touristy areas. The whole Tay Ho district has this laid-back vibe during the day, though it definitely picks up at night when the lakeside bars get going.
The hotel itself feels more like a boutique residence than your typical chain place. Check-in was smooth – no waiting around – and the staff actually knew the neighborhood well enough to give useful recommendations (not just the usual “go see Hoan Kiem Lake” speech). The rooms are clean and comfortable, nothing fancy but everything works properly, which honestly matters more than marble bathrooms when you’re trying to get some sleep after a day of exploring. I mean, the air conditioning was quiet and effective, which is crucial during Hanoi’s sticky summer months. Parking was surprisingly easy too – they’ve got a small lot, and street parking isn’t the nightmare it is in other parts of the city. The only thing I’d mention is that weekend nights can get a bit lively since you’re near some popular spots, but it’s not the kind of noise that keeps you up all night. Overall, it’s got that sweet spot of being connected to real Hanoi life while still giving you the comfort and service you want after a long day of sightseeing – plus the price point makes sense for what you’re getting.

Nothing to say for real
What could be improved: I try to text them to prepare for my stay in advance but they didn't reply even one. At my arrival day, I try to call them for one hour and there is no response, it was heavy rain and I had to stay outside of their residence without any assistance.
The worst customer care team ever, never put your trust in this place.Abbott from Thailand – 2 August 2024 (8/10)
I will definitely stay again….Light and Spacious in a convenient location. Washer and drier was a HUGE bonus as was the filtered water cooler. Shower was hot and good pressure and bed was comfy. Aircon worked well and kitchen equipment was sufficient. Towels provided were clean.
Access in and out was easy.
What could be improved: Nothing significantly poor.
The kitchen and toilet were not super clean.
I was expecting a bathtub as per the image.
There is no cleaning service but also nothing provided by the property to clean. I recommend the property provide a broom and basic cleaning equipment.
The manager smokes inside the lobby which smells strongly on entering….rooms have no smell.Corben from Ireland – 26 July 2024 (9/10)
