The soundproofing is surprisingly good, which is no small feat in Hanoi where the street noise can be… well, let’s just say it’s part of the charm but not always when you’re trying to sleep.

The Nam Từ Liêm district location is actually pretty smart if you think about it – you’re close enough to the old quarter that a taxi won’t break the bank, but far enough out that you get a feel for how locals actually live.
