But stepping into this place on the 9th floor of the T1 building actually blew me away. The thing about Times City that most people don’t realize until they’re here is how it’s basically this self-contained universe in Hai Ba Trung district. What I really loved about the Mint House setup is that you get all the apartment perks – full kitchen, proper living space, washer (thank god, because Hanoi humidity is no joke) – but with actual hotel-level cleanliness and service. The bed situation is honestly perfect, and I’m someone who usually tosses and turns in unfamiliar places.

Location-wise, you’re about a 15-minute grab ride from the Old Quarter, but here’s the thing – sometimes you actually want to be away from all that tourist chaos. The Times City area gives you this nice balance where you can live like a local but still easily access all the must-see spots. I found myself walking around the complex in the evenings, watching families out with their kids, street food vendors setting up on the periphery. The apartment itself stays surprisingly quiet despite being in such a busy development, though you’ll definitely hear the city humming below if you keep the windows open. Check-in was smooth – they’ve got it down to a science, probably because they’re used to hosting longer-stay guests who actually need things to work properly. The only tiny thing I’d mention is that the elevator situation can get a bit crowded during peak hours (you know, typical high-rise life), but honestly, that’s such a minor detail when everything else works so well. If you’re looking for that sweet spot between hotel convenience and actually living somewhere for a bit, this place nails it.
