You’re literally a five-minute walk from the chaos of the Old Quarter, but when you step outside in the morning, it’s just… peaceful. Local vendors setting up their stalls, the smell of pho drifting from the corner shop, actual Vietnamese families going about their day instead of tourist madness.

The apartment-style setup is where this place really shines though. I mean, having a proper kitchenette changes everything when you’re staying more than a couple nights – you can grab fresh ingredients from Chợ Đồng Xuân and actually cook something instead of eating out every single meal (which, let’s be honest, your stomach will thank you for). The rooms are surprisingly spacious for Hanoi standards, and whoever designed them actually thought about how people live. There’s enough counter space to spread out your stuff, the bathroom doesn’t require contortionist skills to use the shower, and – this might sound weird but it matters – the bed is positioned so you’re not staring directly at the street lights all night. The whole building feels solid too, none of that paper-thin wall situation you get at some places where you hear every conversation in the hallway.

What really sold me on this spot is how the staff operates. Check-in was refreshingly straightforward – no upselling, no weird deposit drama, just “here’s your key, the elevator’s a bit slow but it works, WiFi password is on the desk.” They’ve got this local knowledge thing down too. When I asked about getting to the airport early morning, the guy at the front desk didn’t just say “take a taxi” – he told me exactly which Grab pickup spot to use to avoid the one-way street confusion and mentioned that 5 AM is actually perfect timing to miss the traffic. Small stuff like that makes a difference. The 9.1 rating honestly makes sense when you stay here – it’s not trying to be the fanciest place in Hanoi, but everything just… works. The AC keeps up with the humidity, hot water doesn’t randomly disappear mid-shower, and you can actually sleep through the night without street noise driving you crazy. Plus, and this is key for a lot of travelers, you feel like you’re staying in a real neighborhood instead of some tourist bubble.   Really good value compared to the price, much better than I expect it to be. The room is cleaned everyday, the furniture looks nice and I feel comfortable resting here. The staff is also very friendly and helpful so I asked them some guidance for my trip. Nice stay.

  First and foremost, the staff was very accomodating. As for the room, I wouldn't consider it to be the best, but still quite comfortable and had great sound-proofing. All I'll say is money well spent.

  Great Stay at New Apart Hotel Hanoi!
  I stayed at New Apart Hotel Hanoi on Nguyen Van Ngoc Street, Ba Dinh District, and it was an excellent experience.
  
  For $25/night (650k VND), the room was modern, spacious, and well-equipped—definitely worth the price. There are other room types, but since I was staying alone, I chose this one. However, I checked out the other rooms, and they were all brand new, fully furnished, and well-designed.
  
  The location is perfect, right in the center of Hanoi, with easy access to Lotte mall, West Lake, and Japanese/Australian Embassy. The staff was friendly and super helpful, and everything was clean and “New”-just like its name haha i know:))
  
  For this price, the quality is unbeatable! Would definitely stay again and recommend others to come!

  This time, when I returned to Vietnam, I accidentally booked this hotel, and it was more surprising than I expected. It has a distinctive Vietnamese style, and what I love most is its central location—just steps away from great food. The hotel is very new and close to the Australian Embassy
