Plus, and this is huge for Vietnam, they’ve got free parking. I mean, try finding that anywhere else in Hanoi that doesn’t cost you a small fortune.

Room Experience

The rooms are what you’d expect from NH — clean lines, comfortable beds, and everything actually works the way it’s supposed to. The air conditioning is powerful enough to handle Hanoi’s humidity, which believe me, you’ll appreciate. What I particularly liked was the attention to small details — decent water pressure in the shower, blackout curtains that actually block light, and enough outlets for all your devices. The rooms aren’t huge, but they’re smartly designed so you don’t feel cramped.

Getting Around

The neighborhood itself is pretty authentic — you’ve got local street food vendors nearby, small cafes where you can grab proper Vietnamese coffee, and it’s easy to catch a Grab taxi or motorbike when you want to explore. The hotel staff are genuinely helpful with directions and recommendations, not just handing you the same tourist brochures everyone else gets. They seem to actually know the city, which makes a difference when you’re trying to figure out the best time to visit the Temple of Literature or where to find good pho that isn’t overpriced.
