The Presidential Palace is basically around the corner, and you can actually stroll to the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum in about fifteen minutes – though I’d skip that walk in the summer heat. What I really loved was having that whole Vinhomes complex right there. Need groceries at 10 PM? Done. Want decent coffee without venturing into traffic? There’s a café downstairs. It’s like having a little bubble of convenience, which honestly made the whole stay way more relaxed than I expected.

The rooms themselves hit that sweet spot between business hotel functionality and actual comfort – you know, the kind of place where the shower pressure doesn’t disappoint and the AC actually cools the room down properly (crucial in Hanoi’s humidity). The 8.2 rating makes sense when you’re there; it’s not going to blow your mind with luxury, but everything just… works. The staff seemed genuinely helpful rather than going through the motions, and check-in was refreshingly straightforward. I stayed during shoulder season and the whole complex felt pretty quiet – you get the sense it might get busier when the apartments fill up, but the hotel area maintained this calm vibe that was perfect after long days exploring the city. What really sold me was stepping out onto Liễu Giai street in the morning and realizing I could either dive into local street food scenes or retreat back to the complex’s more polished dining options depending on my mood. It’s that flexibility that makes this place work better than its four-star rating might suggest – you’re getting the best of both worlds without paying resort prices.

  Very good location near city centre. Grab costed around 80k VND. Spacious, two bathrooms is big plus. Host was very responsive and helpful. View from 33 floor was incredible.
