Roygent Parks Hanoi Overview

You know what struck me first about Roygent Parks Hanoi? It’s tucked away on Khuat Duy Tien Street in this really nice residential area called Trung Hoa – honestly, I wasn’t expecting much from a 4-star place I’d never heard of, but this one actually surprised me. The whole Cau Giay district has this interesting mix of local life and expat families, so you get that authentic Hanoi vibe without feeling like you’re completely off the tourist map. I mean, you’re still close enough to the action (Old Quarter’s maybe 20 minutes by taxi), but far enough out that you can actually sleep at night without motorbike horns as your soundtrack.

The hotel itself has this understated elegance thing going on – not trying too hard to impress, but clearly someone put thought into the details. Check-in was smooth, which honestly matters more than people realize when you’re jet-lagged and just want to collapse somewhere clean. The staff speaks decent English, and they actually seem to know the neighborhood well enough to give you real recommendations, not just the standard tourist traps. What I really appreciated was how quiet it gets at night – something about being on a residential street instead of a main thoroughfare makes all the difference. The rooms are well-appointed without being flashy, and the beds are actually comfortable (you’d be surprised how often that’s not the case). There’s solid WiFi throughout, which saved me when I needed to work from the room one morning.

Here’s the thing about staying in Cau Giay – you’re in this pocket of Hanoi where real life happens. There’s a great local market about a 10-minute walk away where you can grab fresh fruit and those little Vietnamese coffee setups for your room. The area around Trung Hoa Park (which is practically next door) comes alive in the evenings with families and joggers, and honestly, it’s kind of perfect for those moments when you want to people-watch without being the obvious tourist. The hotel’s location puts you close to some really solid local restaurants – the kind where you might be the only foreigner, but the pho is incredible and costs about two dollars. Getting around is easy enough; there are always taxis, and the newer parts of the city (like the fancy shopping areas) are surprisingly close. I’d say this place hits that sweet spot where you feel like you’re staying somewhere locals might actually recommend to their visiting relatives, rather than just another hotel that caters exclusively to tour groups. The 8.8 rating makes sense – it’s not going to blow your mind, but it delivers on what it promises, and sometimes that’s exactly what you need.

I’ve been travelling in few nearby countries for business purpose. This is so far the best hotel I’ve ever stayed. It’s a little soho suite where you could find everything you need here – as big as washing machine, oven, fridge etc, and as small as daily utensils. You could even get frying pan here! In short, service was good, breakfast was awesome, will definitely recommend it.

  • Nuanwan from Thailand – 6 October 2022 (9/10)

I like the Roygent Parks's room because it's large and full amenities with nice view! Overall, Its' room, service, facilities, and breakfast are very good beyond my expectation. I enjoyed my stay at Roygent Parks.

What could be improved: The location of the hotel is high traffic area and take time to go to the city center.

  • Thierry from Thailand – 27 August 2022 (8/10)

What could be improved: Location…. Far from the old city and no restaurant around. But there is a japanese restaurant at the hotel if you are hungry
Did not feel like in Vietnam!
