Here’s the thing about the location that took me a day to fully appreciate: you’re in Ba Dinh district, which means you’re close to all the official stuff (the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum is walkable if you’re into that), but more importantly, you’re near Kim Ma street where the locals actually eat. There’s this little bun cha place about three blocks away that doesn’t have an English sign – just follow the plastic stools and the smell of grilled pork. The staff at Sumitomo seemed to know I was staying there and would nod when I walked by, which gave the whole experience this neighborhood feel you don’t usually get in tourist areas. Parking was surprisingly manageable too, though I’d recommend grabbing a motorbike taxi for longer trips – the drivers know exactly where lane 39 is, which saved me from a lot of confused wandering. That 9.1 rating makes total sense when you realize you’re getting genuine local Hanoi living without sacrificing the reliability of proper plumbing and fast wifi.   By vietnamies standards: Its spacious. Has natural light at daytime. Decent soundproofing. Aircon in both rooms. Nice japanese neighbourhood. Equipped well enough. Washing machine with drying function. Heated toilet seat 😀 Good shower. Clean. Modern. 20 mins away from the crowded old quarter. Which was a plus for us. Atms nearby. Good restaurants. Minimarket. We spent two weeks here. Loved it. Bonus: the host paid for our taxi because we didn't have cash and couldn't pay by card. Thanks for that again.
  
  What could be improved: Some constructions. But wasn't too loud and in reasonable times. And you have to get used to it if you want to spend time in any bigger vietnamies city anyways. We are bad sleepers and we absolutely hate any noise and was still good enough for us to want to return in the future.

  I quite like this room, it has a balcony, so you can smoke and enjoy the view. Even though it's still very bustling in the evening, it's still very quiet when it's closed. The security guard was very enthusiastic. Even though he used a translater machine , he still enthusiastically guided me.

  Great apartment, close to many eating options and local market. Lotte mart a short walk, Circle K and Winmart close by. Clean and comfortable. Location is a bit far from the old quarter.

  A great apartment that had all we needed. We worked at the same time and it was great to have 2 separate rooms.

  You have a washing machine with dryer included which was extremely handy.
  
  Super clean, friendly staff, close to supermarkets and 2 malls. A really good stay.
  
  What could be improved: We loved it. Just notice that while is it in a good area, you need a taxi or grab to get in the Old quarter. I would avoid staying in traffic between 3-5 pm as it can be hard to find a car to get back to the location.
