Location-wise, you’re maybe 15 minutes by taxi from the Old Quarter when traffic’s decent (which, let’s be real, is never during rush hour), but here’s the thing – you’ve got the metro line pretty close by, and it’s honestly faster than sitting in traffic anyway. The area’s got this interesting mix of new development and old Hanoi charm. You’ll find international restaurants if you need a break from Vietnamese food, but also plenty of local spots that haven’t been discovered by tour groups yet. I spent most evenings just wandering around the neighborhood, and it felt safe even late at night – lots of families out, kids playing, that community vibe you don’t always get in tourist areas.   What could be improved: Lúc đấy tầm 9h mình đang khá mệt thì có một bạn gọi điện hỏi về việc thanh toán. mình bị mất giấc ngủ, cũng thông cảm cho bạn chủ nhà nhưng mình đã không hài lòng, giá như bạn thông tin đấy tinh tế hoặc nhắn tin sẽ dễ chịu hơn.
