The owner clearly gets what travelers need because there’s proper counter space in the kitchenette (rare find), and the wifi actually works consistently, which… well, anyone who’s spent time in Vietnam knows that’s not always a given. What really won me over was the attention to small details – decent water pressure in the shower, blackout curtains that actually block the morning light, and they stock the fridge with local brands instead of overpriced tourist stuff. The building itself feels solid, none of that thin-wall situation where you hear every conversation from next door.

Location-wise, you’re in this sweet spot where locals actually live and work, so the street food is legit and reasonably priced. There’s this bánh mì cart that sets up right at the corner of Trung Phụng and Láng around 7 AM – honestly some of the best I had in the city, and the lady remembers your order after like two days. The area connects really well to the rest of Hanoi too; you can grab a xe om (motorbike taxi) to the Old Quarter in about 15 minutes, or there’s decent bus connections if you’re not comfortable with the motorbike chaos yet. I actually ended up walking to Kim Mã a bunch of times – it’s only about 20 minutes and you pass through some interesting neighborhoods you’d never see otherwise. The 8.4 rating makes sense when you factor in that you’re getting apartment-level amenities at hotel prices, plus the staff genuinely seems to care about making your stay work. They helped me figure out the best route to avoid traffic when I needed to get to Noi Bai airport early, and even called ahead to confirm my taxi pickup time. It’s that kind of place where you feel like you’re staying somewhere real, not just passing through a generic hotel experience.

  Điều mình ấn tượng nhất là bạn chủ nhà hỗ trợ rất nhiệt tình. Phòng ở rộng rãi thoải mải, khá đẹp. Tuy chỉ có nhà tắm không được mới lắm; vệ sinh, độ sạch sẽ nên được cải thiện thêm.
