Honestly, I wasn’t sure what to expect from a place with such a mouthful of a name, but Vincom Plaza Vinhomes Sky Lake turned out to be one of those pleasant surprises that makes you feel like you’ve cracked some local code. It’s tucked into the Sky Lake complex on Phạm Hùng – and if you know anything about this part of Mỹ Đình, you’ll appreciate that it’s far enough from the Old Quarter chaos but close enough that you’re not stuck in suburban limbo.

The thing that hit me first walking in was how the lobby actually feels lived-in rather than sterile. You know what I mean – some four-star places try so hard to be impressive that they forget to be comfortable. Here, there’s this nice buzz of business travelers mixing with families, and the staff genuinely seems to know what they’re doing instead of just going through motions. The rooms are what you’d hope for at this level – clean lines, decent space, and thank god, blackout curtains that actually work (learned that lesson the hard way at other Hanoi hotels). The beds are properly firm, which my back appreciated after all that street food hunting, and the AC doesn’t sound like a motorcycle starting up every ten minutes.

What really sold me on this place, though, is the location within the complex. You’ve got the Vincom shopping center literally connected – I mean, you can wander down in your hotel slippers if you want – plus there’s this whole network of cafes and restaurants that locals actually use. It’s not tourist central, which means better prices and real Vietnamese coffee instead of the watered-down stuff. The Sky Lake area itself is pretty walkable, especially in the evenings when families come out and there’s this nice neighborhood vibe happening. Parking was surprisingly hassle-free too, which anyone who’s driven in Hanoi will tell you is basically a miracle. The only minor thing – and I’m really reaching here – is that if you’re the type who needs to be stumbling distance from nightlife, you’ll want to grab a taxi into the city center. But honestly, after a day of exploring Hanoi’s beautiful madness, coming back to this quieter pocket felt like exactly what I needed. The 9.2 rating makes total sense once you’re there – it’s the kind of place that doesn’t oversell itself but delivers on the things that actually matter when you’re trying to sleep well and start fresh the next day.

  What could be improved: Es werden Leistungen angeboten, die nicht zur Verfügung stehen oder dann nur gegen ein Entgelt genutzt werden können. Dazu gehört der private Pool, außerdem fehlt in dem gebuchten Apartment der Seeblick, Kamin etc.
  Wenn Sie in einem abgewohntem Apartment sich von den Mitarbeitern auslachen wollen, sind Sie hier gut aufgehoben.

  위치가 미딩이라서 좋았습니다. 고층이라 전망도 좋읍니다. 한인마트, 한인식당도 같은 건물에 있어요. 집도 넓고, 시설도 잘 갖추어져 있습니다. 에어컨도 방2개 거실 1개 있어요. 직원도 굉장히 친절합니다. 아파트 현관에 있는 경비원도 친절해요. 엘리베이터도 건물에 많습니다.
  
  What could be improved: 그릇, 식기도구가 더럽습니다. 오랫동안 관리가 안된 것 같아요. 전 해먹지 않아서 괜찮았지만 조리해서 드실 분들은 안좋아하실 것 같아요.
  수압이 약합니다. 샤워부스 하수구도 물이 잘 안 내려갑니다.
  하지만 이런 부분들은 충분히 보완할 수 있기에 굉장히 매력적이고 좋은 숙소입니다.
