The living room opens up to this decent-sized balcony where you can actually see some greenery, which is refreshing after navigating Hanoi’s concrete jungle.

Here’s what makes this place work though: the location is smarter than it first appears. Sure, you’re not in the Old Quarter with all that tourist chaos, but honestly? That’s a feature, not a bug. Tây Mỗ is where actual Hanoians live and work – there’s a massive shopping center right there when you need groceries or want to grab pho without paying tourist prices. The metro connection to downtown is pretty solid once you figure out the system, and parking is abundant (try finding that in Hoan Kiem District). The complex itself has this almost small-city vibe – there’s a decent gym, swimming pool that’s usually not crowded, and little convenience stores scattered around. It gets quiet at night, which after dealing with Hanoi’s motorbike symphony, feels like a luxury. The management company (TTA, I think?) seems to have their act together – I had an issue with the wifi and someone showed up within an hour, speaking decent English. That 9.2 rating isn’t just people being nice – this place delivers on the basics and then some. If you want to experience Hanoi like you’re actually living here rather than just passing through, and you don’t mind being a bit outside the tourist bubble, this works really well.

  Phòng sạch sẽ, đầy đủ tiện nghi. Ra vào dễ dàng thuận tiện. Ti vi hơi khó dùng 1 chút, mình thường phải chiếu từ điện thoại lên để xem.
  Vị trí gần hồ, có thể đi bộ ra hồ Tây để tập thể dục, ngắm cảnh
  
  What could be improved: Chỗ ở hơi ít khăn tắm, mình ở ngày 2 người mà có 2 cái nên phải dùng đi dùng lại, chủ phòng có thể chuẩn bị thêm vài cái để cho khách sử dụng thì tốt hơn. Mình tìm bàn là để là quần áo mà không có. Bếp không gia vị và nồi cơm điện nên mình không nấu ăn được
