The thing is, it’s not technically a hotel – it’s more like a serviced apartment situation, which actually works out way better if you ask me. You get this proper studio setup with a little kitchenette, decent-sized bathroom, and a living area that doesn’t feel cramped like most hotel rooms in the city. The building itself is pretty new, part of that whole Vinhomes development that’s been transforming this corner of Cau Giay, and you can tell – everything still has that fresh, modern feel without being sterile.

Location-wise, you’re right in the thick of things but not overwhelmed by tourist chaos. Tran Duy Hưng is this major artery that’ll get you basically anywhere in the city, and I mean anywhere – the Old Quarter’s about 15 minutes by taxi (longer during rush hour, obviously), and you’ve got the Keangnam Landmark Tower literally across the street if you need that international business district vibe. What I really love though is how you’re walking distance to some genuinely good local spots. There’s this little street food area tucked behind the Big C nearby where you can get proper pho bo at like 6 AM, and the coffee shops around here actually cater to locals, not just tourists with their phones out. The building’s got decent security too – you need a key card for everything, which gave me peace of mind when I was coming back late from exploring the night markets.

Here’s what sold me on the place: it just works without any drama. Check-in was smooth, the WiFi actually handles video calls (crucial for me), and the AC doesn’t sound like a helicopter landing. You know what really impressed me? The water pressure. Sounds silly, but after bouncing around Southeast Asia for a while, a proper hot shower becomes this luxury you don’t take for granted. The bed’s comfortable enough – not hotel-fancy, but better than a lot of places I’ve crashed. And having that little kitchen setup means you can grab stuff from the nearby markets and actually cook if you want a break from eating out constantly. The only minor thing is that weekend mornings can get a bit noisy with construction nearby – Vietnam’s always building something – but nothing earplugs can’t handle. With an 8.7 rating, I get why people keep coming back here. It’s that sweet spot where you’re paying for location and reliability without the inflated prices of the big international chains downtown.
