I mean, Tay Ho has this laid-back vibe that’s completely different from the Old Quarter chaos, and this little apartment captures that perfectly. You’re walking through these tiny residential lanes where locals are going about their daily routines – kids playing, motorbikes parked everywhere, the occasional food vendor with their mobile cart – and then you find this surprisingly well-appointed place that feels like a proper retreat. The 9.7 rating isn’t just numbers on a screen; you can actually feel why people love staying here. The space itself is thoughtfully put together without being fancy for fancy’s sake, if you know what I mean. Everything works, which is more than I can say for some places I’ve stayed in Vietnam.

Here’s what nobody tells you about staying in this area though – you’re actually perfectly positioned to explore West Lake without dealing with the tour group crowds. There are these little cafes and local eateries scattered around the neighborhood that you’d never find unless you were staying right here. I discovered this incredible bun cha place just by wandering around one morning, the kind where you point at what looks good because there’s no English menu. And getting to the main attractions? Well, you’ll want to grab a taxi or Grab for the longer distances, but honestly, half the fun is just walking through these residential streets and seeing actual Hanoi life happening around you. The owners clearly know their stuff too – check-in was smooth, they actually answered their phone when I called (revolutionary concept, I know), and they seem to genuinely care about the place rather than just collecting booking fees. It’s not perfect – the alley can be a bit tricky to navigate with luggage, and you’ll definitely want to save the address in Vietnamese on your phone – but those minor inconveniences fade pretty quickly when you’re sitting in a comfortable space that feels authentically local rather than like a sterile hotel room.

  Шикарные апартаменты! Много места, просторно, удобно, чисто. Последний этаж с лифтом! Кухня- гостиная это отдельное помещение, и это очень хорошо. Мой муж любит вставать рано, а я люблю поспать. Здесь он просыпался и уходил в гостиную, завтракать и пить кофе, а я спокойно спала без лишнего шума. Расположение очень удобное. Если вы прилетели – вы приедете в спокойный район, где ночью тихо и можно выспаться. Если вы улетаете, как мы – без пробок, быстро, можно доехать до аэропорта, не боясь опоздать на самолёт. Хозяйка заказала нам такси заранее, по хорошей цене, в 5 утра водитель ждал нас, а не мы его). На все вопросы нам быстро отвечали ватсап и прислали с персоналом то, чего нам не хватало для комфортной жизни. Английский на 5+! Я стопроцентно рекомендую эти апартаменты, особенно парам.

  Địa điểm được chỉ dẫn rõ ràng, thuộc khu dân cư văn minh văn hóa, yên tĩnh, dễ dàng nhận phòng nghỉ dù đến buổi tối muộn. Chủ nhà nhiệt tình thân thiện, đón tiếp chu đáo. Thiết bị mới và sạch sẽ.

  Great location and a great place for the price. You can tell this place is pretty new brand new fridge and wardrobe. Definitely recommend this if you're a budget traveler.
