What really impressed me was how they managed to create this sense of calm inside while you’re literally surrounded by the buzz of the Old Quarter. I stayed there during peak season and honestly expected way more street noise, but the rooms are surprisingly well-insulated. The design leans into that whole Japanese-Vietnamese fusion thing the name suggests – clean lines, natural materials, but with touches that feel distinctly Hanoi. The staff actually knows the neighborhood inside and out, which is rarer than you’d think. They pointed me toward this little coffee spot around the corner that I never would have found otherwise, and gave me the real scoop on which streets to avoid during morning rush hour.

Here’s the thing about the location – you’re literally a five-minute walk from Hoan Kiem Lake, but you’re on one of the quieter streets that still has that authentic Old Quarter energy. I could walk to most of the places I wanted to hit: the weekend night market, those famous bia hoi corners, the good pho places that locals actually eat at (not just the tourist traps). The area gets pretty lively in the evenings, but it’s more of a gentle hum than the motorcycle symphony you get on some of the main streets. Check-in was smooth – they actually seem to care about the details, which you can tell from little things like how they package the room keys to the quality of the toiletries. I’ll be honest, at this price point in Hanoi, you sometimes get places that look great in photos but cut corners on the basics. This place doesn’t do that. The 9.4 rating isn’t inflated – it’s earned through consistent attention to what actually matters when you’re trying to experience Hanoi without the usual hassles that come with Old Quarter accommodations.

  The stay was very good. Very comfortable and homely.
  
  Overall – It was super and awesome. The kids loved the bunk bed where they would play whole day. Drawing room had a sofa bed which was easy to make and use and was very comfortable. There was also books which one could read anytime.
  
  Kitchen -There was enough crokery for all 4 of us. All washed and kitchen was super clean. There was enough arrangment for washing clothes and vessels. Fridge, washing machine and dryer.
  
  Bathroom – Clean with all utilities.
  
  Bedroom – comfortable bed, almirahs, iron, hair dryer.
  
  Approachable and easy to locate.
