So I’ve stayed at 22housing Vinhomes Metropolis a few times now – honestly, it’s one of those places that grows on you. First time I rolled up to Liễu Giai street, I wasn’t sure what to expect because, you know, the name’s a bit of a mouthful and it’s sort of tucked into this massive Vinhomes complex. But here’s the thing – once you’re inside, it actually feels more like a proper serviced apartment than your typical hotel, which is brilliant if you’re staying more than a couple nights.

The location is honestly perfect if you want to feel like you’re living in Hanoi rather than just visiting. Ba Dinh district has this great mix of local energy and expat-friendly spots, and you’re walking distance to some seriously good street food on Liễu Giai (there’s this bánh mì place about 200 meters down that I’m probably too obsessed with). What I really appreciate is that you’re close enough to the Old Quarter for sightseeing – maybe 15 minutes by taxi – but far enough away that you’re not dealing with the tourist chaos every time you step outside. The building itself sits right in the Metropolis complex, so there’s actually a decent mall downstairs if you need groceries or just want air conditioning on a brutal summer afternoon.

The rooms are spacious – I mean, really spacious by Hanoi standards – and they’ve got this modern, clean aesthetic that doesn’t feel sterile. Most units have little kitchenettes which is clutch if you want to grab fresh ingredients from the local markets and cook something up. The beds are comfortable (important when you’re dealing with jet lag), and the wifi actually works properly, which… well, anyone who’s traveled in Southeast Asia knows that’s not always a given. Staff speaks decent English and they’re genuinely helpful – not just going through the motions. Check-in is usually smooth, though I’d recommend arriving after 3 PM because they seem to get backed up earlier in the day. One small thing – the elevators can be slow during peak hours since it’s a busy complex, but honestly, that’s a minor complaint. The 8.3 rating feels about right to me; it’s solid, reliable, and you get good value for what you pay, especially if you book during off-peak times. It’s not luxury by any means, but it’s the kind of place where you can actually settle in and explore Hanoi at your own pace.

  The apartment is very spacious and clean. We got three big bedrooms, full of light, which are amazing. The soundproof is brilliant. I slept very well that night. The facilities are new and clean, and very convenient. The location was quite easy to access for taxi and car.
  
  What could be improved: It was quite confusing because we didn't meet the host at all. The washing machine ran into some troubles, and we were quite struggling to use the machine. Did call the hotline, but again, all communication was done via Zalo. This is where, I would say, digitalization went too far to the point of confusion and perhaps, a little bit of frustration. Another cons is that it's quite confusing to find the entrance of the building. But it's very near to the main road, so it was ok.

  Friendly, accommodating staff, willing to help with a smile, good looking rooms. There was a manager that helped to serve us during the set dinners, he was very helpful and polite.

  Also, when I moved the furniture a little, there was a lot of sand and dirt under the furniture.
  
  I sent a message in advance on Booking.com that I wanted to pay by credit card, but before the meeting on the day I was asked to pay in cash several times, and when I declined, I received the following response. Angry, childish behavior. It was very unpleasant.
  
  On the reservation page, it was written that the pool fee was included in the room rate and could be used for free.
  However, when I tried to go to the pool on the day of my stay, the person at the pool told me that I had to pay 200.000vnd per adult and 200.000vnd per child each time I went in and out. The vendor claimed to me that the pool had a payment structure similar to vending machines found in typical hotels. At other hotels, pool fees are generally included in the room rate. I'm tired of the confusing display and nonsensical and lack of sincerity of the claims.
  Please be careful if you are staying overnight.
  
  I forgot my key number and called the company, but they wouldn't give me the number and said they would arrive within 10 minutes, but I ended up leaving my child alone and waiting in the lobby for about an hour. Ta. It was after the pool so the kids were wet. After several calls, I finally got a message on my phone.
  
  I would have preferred an upper floor if I could, but it was the next floor after 3A (5th floor in Metropolis, actually 4th floor).
  
  If possible, it is safe to rent a room from another company.
  
  I hope my worst experience will at least help protect those reading this.

  What could be improved: The check-in time is 2:00 p.m., but we got the apartment at 4:30 p.m. The host was unreachable on the phone, and even when he answered, he spoke in a jerky way. The accommodation was dirty, the textiles were full of dirt. There was no soap in the accommodation either, we reported this to the host, who refused to replace it. I do not recommend the accommodation to anyone.

  롯데 건너편에 있는 주상 복합이라 편리했습니다.
  숙소 형태도 아파트라 넓은 공간을 사용할 수 있었습니다.
  
  What could be improved: 집주인이 같은 아파트에 여러 채를 소유했는지, 실제 내부는 사진과 전혀 달랐습니다. 지내기에 불편함은 없었으나 사진속 인테리어를 기대하면 안될거 같습니다
