Look, I’ve stayed in my fair share of Hanoi hotels, and honestly? 22Land Cosmos caught me off guard in the best way. Tucked away in this tiny alley off Xuân La Street in Tay Ho, it’s one of those places you’d never find by accident – which is actually part of its charm. The first time I went looking for it, I walked past the entrance twice because Vietnamese alley addresses can be… well, let’s just say GPS gets confused. But once you’re there, you get it.

The thing about this place is that it sits right in the sweet spot between local and accessible. You’re genuinely in a Vietnamese neighborhood – I mean, there’s a woman who sells the most incredible bánh mì from a cart about fifty meters down the alley every morning around 7 AM, and the motorbike traffic sounds are real but not overwhelming. The hotel itself has this modern, almost minimalist vibe that feels refreshing after walking through the organized chaos of Hanoi streets. Check-in was surprisingly smooth for a smaller property, and the staff actually remembered my name by day two (not something you can say about every place with a 4-star rating). The rooms are what I’d call thoughtfully designed – clean lines, good lighting, and thank god, proper blackout curtains because Hanoi mornings start early whether you want them to or not. Air conditioning works well, which matters more than you’d think during summer months.

What really sold me on this place, though, is the location knowledge the front desk has. They don’t just hand you a generic tourist map – they’ll tell you which direction to walk to hit the good coffee spots that locals actually use, or how to get to West Lake without fighting through the Old Quarter crowds. Parking isn’t an issue if you’re brave enough to rent a motorbike, and they’ve got relationships with reliable xe om drivers if you’re not ready for Hanoi traffic (totally understandable). The 9.2 rating makes sense when you add up all these little things – it’s not trying to be a luxury resort, but it nails what it is trying to be. You know what I mean? It’s that rare find where you feel like you’re staying somewhere that understands both what travelers need and what actually works in this city.

  Wow! This was an amazing property for the price. Everything felt new and the facilities were so clean and nice. The location is good too, away from the very touristy parts of the city but still walkable to restaurants and shops. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.
  
  What could be improved: Everything was great. The only small little thing was that the laundry machine was a bit confusing to figure out, and there was no guide so a little tip sheet for that would’ve been nice. But it was a huge plus to have in unit laundry.

  Great price, nice sized studio rooms with everything you need including good washing machines. Would stay here again. Aircon works amazingly, best out of all the places in Vietnam.
  
  What could be improved: It’s a bit further out from the old town. But it’s nice as can walk easily to the west lake for breakfast and coffee.

  I got an upgrade which was awesome, even though I didn't need the extra space. Everything was nice and new. There was a microwave, washing machine, new smart tv. Aircon worked well. Bed was super comfortable. Staff very friendly and helpful. A nice city skyline view. The property is a 15 min ride to the Old Quarter, but tbh, I was quite happy to be central but not in the thick of it as the old quarter can be intense. The hotel is close to a 4-lane road, so there is the hum of constant traffic except for the wee hours. But that wasn't problematic from a sleeping pov. One of the lakes was very close by which provided some nice walking strolling opportunities. Bring a face mask if you like to use scooter taxis.
  
  What could be improved: There's a button to press that activates heating the water for the shower and this button is on the light switch pad. I didn't realise I needed to press this so 2 out of my 3 showers were tepid. The bathroom sink was blocked and drained very slowly. It was fixed promptly however.

  I had an exceptional stay in this hotel in Hanoi! The apartment was top notch – brand new, spacious, modern, and equipped with all the amenities you'd need, plus a nice view. The girl at the reception was incredibly kind and helpful and made check-in smooth and easy. It was an excellent experience at a great price. Highly recommend it to anyone, and I’ll definitely be back. Thanks to the hotel staff for such a comfortable stay!

  It was only two months old, and everything was shiny and new. A large TV that had Netflix and YouTube, this may not be your main priority, but I enjoyed a few good film.

  Very modern, spacious apartment with all amenities such as kitchen, fridge, microwave, washing machine with dry cleaner, comfortable bathroom. The large balcony with a wide view of the Hanoi skyline was fantastic.
  Unfortunately due to late arrival we were not able to use this facility as much as we would have wanted.
  
  What could be improved: No big issues really. Grab driver has to be told to pick up on the local street, not the main road.
