Honestly, when I first pulled up to Vinhomes Ocean Park in Gia Lâm, I wasn’t expecting much – I mean, it’s technically outside central Hanoi and the whole complex looked pretty massive and corporate from the outside. But apartment R1.05 on the 24th floor completely changed my perspective on this place. The elevator ride up gives you this gradual reveal of just how sprawling Hanoi actually is, and by the time you reach the door, you’re already getting glimpses of why this spot has such crazy good ratings.

The one-bedroom setup is honestly perfect for what most travelers actually need – none of that cramped hotel room nonsense where you’re living out of a suitcase on the floor. You’ve got a proper living area where you can actually spread out, and the bedroom feels separate enough that it doesn’t feel like you’re sleeping in your temporary office (you know what I mean if you’ve done any extended stays). What really got me though was stepping out onto that balcony on the 24th floor – the view stretches all the way across the Red River delta, and on clear days you can see the downtown Hanoi skyline looking almost miniature in the distance. The complex itself has this weird but appealing thing where it feels like a small city within the city, with people jogging around the lake paths early morning and families gathering in the courtyards during the cooler evening hours.

I’ll be straight with you – Gia Lâm isn’t exactly the Old Quarter, so you’re not walking to Hoan Kiem Lake for your morning coffee. But that’s actually part of what makes this place work so well. You get this quieter side of Hanoi life while still being connected (the Metro line gets you downtown in about 25 minutes, and honestly it’s kind of nice having a proper transit option instead of negotiating taxi fares constantly). The building management clearly knows what they’re doing – check-in was smooth, the Wi-Fi actually works reliably for video calls, and the air conditioning doesn’t sound like a freight train, which… well, if you’ve stayed in some Hanoi apartments, you’ll appreciate that detail. The kitchen setup means you can hit the local markets and actually cook some of those ingredients you’ve been curious about, or just brew proper coffee in the morning without hunting down an open café. What surprised me most was how quiet it stays even with all the families and long-term residents around – the soundproofing is solid, and by 10 PM the hallways settle into this peaceful hum that’s perfect for actually getting rest after long days exploring the city.

  phòng khá đầy đủ tiện nghi, gọn gàng, sạch sẽ và thơm 🙆🏻‍♀️ view đường phố, sân vườn ha. mình thấy home còn có cả loa, đèn phi hành gia vũ trụ cực chill á, mê lun. home rất nhiệt tình nữa nhen. mng có ý định đi chơi đổi gió thì vinhomes ocean park là 1 địa điểm lý tưởng nhaa
