The whole Vinhomes complex is this massive development that feels almost like a city within the city – I mean, we’re talking about one of those newer areas where everything’s planned out and polished, but somehow it doesn’t feel sterile.
The apartment-style setup is what really sold me on it. Instead of cramming into a typical hotel room, you get actual space to spread out – proper kitchen, living area, the works. The location on Pham Hung puts you right in this growing business district that’s become pretty popular with both locals and expats. You’re close enough to the action but far enough from the Old Quarter chaos, which honestly was perfect after spending days navigating those narrow streets packed with motorbikes. The Sky Lake part isn’t just marketing speak either – there’s actually this decent-sized lake right there that people jog around in the mornings. I found myself grabbing coffee and just sitting by the water, watching office workers hurry past on their way to the nearby buildings.
What I appreciated most was how it felt like staying in someone’s actual neighborhood rather than a tourist bubble. There’s a Vincom mall practically next door when you need essentials (or decent air conditioning on those brutal summer afternoons), and the local food scene around there is surprisingly good – not the tourist-focused stuff you get in the center, but actual Vietnamese families eating dinner. The building itself runs pretty smoothly – elevators are fast, parking is straightforward if you’re dealing with a rental car, and the whole place stays surprisingly quiet considering how many people live there. I was worried about noise since it’s such a dense area, but the soundproofing is actually solid. The 4-star rating feels about right – it’s comfortable and well-maintained without being flashy, and that 8.5 rating makes sense when you factor in the value you get for the space and location. If you’re planning to stay more than a few days or you’re traveling with family, this setup beats cramming everyone into adjoining hotel rooms. Plus, having a kitchen means you can actually try cooking with ingredients from the local markets, which – trust me – is half the fun of being in Hanoi.

Vị trí rất trung tâm, nhiều tiện ích. Căn hộ của tôi có tầm nhìn ra Phạm Hùng vào buổi tối khá đẹp. Bạn chủ nhà rất nhiệt tình, sẽ còn quay lại ủng hộ.

это моё первое посещение Ханоя, поэтому искал отели, но что-то их мало на букинге, в основном вот такие квартиры. Квартира в принципе чистая, есть всё необходимое, хозяин сразу отвечал на вопросы как забрать ключи, что делать и т.д. потому что я вообще сначала не понимал эту систему, ведь первый раз снимал квартиру посуточно, но в принципе всё нормально. Рядом есть много магазинчиков.
What could be improved: В описании было сказано, что есть бесплатный бассейн, когда мы с детьми пришли поплавать, оказалось, что бассейн только для резидентов этого дома и гости не имеют права пользоваться бассейном, что очень огорчило моих детей и меня, ведь одно из условий выбора этой квартиры, было именно наличие бассейна.
