Eliana Premio Hotel Hanoi Overview

You know what struck me first about the Eliana Premio? Walking up to this place on Hàng Bông Street, you’d almost miss it if you weren’t looking – it’s tucked between the usual mix of silk shops and local eateries that make this stretch of the Old Quarter so authentically Hanoi. But honestly, that’s part of its charm. While tourists are scrambling for hotels right on the main drag near Hoan Kiem Lake, you’re literally a three-minute walk away but somehow removed from all that chaos.

The staff here actually remembers your name after the first day, which – I mean, coming from someone who’s bounced around plenty of four-star places in Southeast Asia – isn’t something you can take for granted. They’ve got this way of anticipating what you need without being pushy about it. Need a motorbike taxi at 6 AM to catch that Ha Long Bay tour? They’ve already got their guy’s number ready. Want to know where locals actually eat pho (not the tourist traps)? The front desk will draw you a little map to this place two blocks over that doesn’t even have a sign. The rooms themselves feel more spacious than you’d expect for Old Quarter standards – I’m talking actual room to open your suitcase without doing gymnastics around the bed. The air conditioning works properly (crucial during those sticky summer months), and you can actually open the windows if you want to hear the gentle hum of scooters and street life below. Though honestly, by 10 PM it quiets down enough that light sleepers won’t need earplugs.

Here’s the thing that really sells me on this place – it feels like Hanoi without trying too hard to be “authentic” for tourists. You’re close enough to walk to all the temples and museums, you can grab bánh mì from the vendor who sets up right outside most mornings, and when you need a break from sightseeing, there’s this little rooftop area where you can actually see over the narrow street canyon and catch glimpses of the lake. The WiFi doesn’t cut out every five minutes, the shower has decent water pressure, and – this might sound small but trust me, it matters – the elevator doesn’t sound like it’s going to give up on life every time you use it. With a 9.5 rating, I was honestly expecting to find some catch, some reason it couldn’t possibly be that good. But sometimes places just get the basics right while adding those little touches that make you feel like you picked the right spot. It’s the kind of hotel where you end up staying an extra night just because leaving feels like too much work.

Reviews of Eliana Premio Hotel Hanoi

  • Callistojiv from Russia – 4 June 2025 (10/10)

Amazing stay at the centre of Hanoi. The location is very convenient to explore old town by feet, including train street, cathedral, lake, and other places. Stores and cafes are everywhere around.

The room was clean, with all necessary amenities, comfortable beds, blackout curtains, everything was good.

The buffet breakfast was good too.

The stuff is amazing, made very caring atmosphere.

But if you choose the room with the view at the main street, prepare for noisy nights, because the center of Hanoi is not quiet.

  • Cui from Philippines – 21 May 2025 (10/10)

Very close to Hang Da Market and there’s even an Asics store nearby. Loved the staff! Super accommodating especially to those who assisted us in our booking— Grace, Quinn, Ruby and Duck! Thank you.

What could be improved: The streets are quite busy but it depends if you are the type of traveller who like being close to all of the establishments or not hehe.
