You know what struck me first about Eliana Signature? It’s tucked away on Phố Lò Sũ, which honestly most tourists never even notice – they’re too busy rushing between Hoan Kiem Lake and the weekend night market. But that’s exactly why this place works so well. You’re literally a three-minute walk from all the Old Quarter chaos, but when you duck into the lobby, it’s like someone turned down the volume on Hanoi.

The thing about this hotel is they actually get the details right. I mean, sure, it’s a 4-star place so you’d expect decent rooms, but it’s the small stuff that surprised me. The elevators are quiet (trust me, this matters when you’re jet-lagged and someone’s coming in at 2 AM), the AC doesn’t sound like a helicopter, and – this is huge – the shower pressure is actually strong. You’d be amazed how many nice hotels in the Old Quarter have beautiful bathrooms with pathetic water pressure. The rooms themselves feel more spacious than you’d expect, probably because they didn’t go overboard with furniture. Clean lines, good lighting, and windows that actually open if you want to hear the street sounds below.

What really sold me on this place was the staff’s local knowledge. The front desk guy – I think his name was Minh – didn’t just point me toward Pho Gia Truyen like every other hotel does. He actually drew me a little map to this incredible bun cha spot about six blocks away where I was literally the only foreigner. And when I mentioned wanting to avoid the tourist traps, he steered me toward the fabric shops on Hàng Gai where his sister apparently gets her áo dài made. That’s the kind of insider information you can’t Google. The breakfast situation is pretty solid too – not just the usual continental spread, but they’ve got pho and Vietnamese coffee that doesn’t taste like it came from a machine. I actually found myself eating there most mornings instead of wandering around looking for something authentic.

The location really is perfect if you want to be in the thick of things but still sleep at night. Phố Lò Sũ is narrow enough that motorbikes can’t really speed down it, so it’s not as insane as staying right on Hàng Bạc or Tạ Hiện. You’re close enough to walk to St. Joseph’s Cathedral for morning mass if that’s your thing, or stumble back from bia hơi corner after a few too many Hanoi beers. The weekend night market is right there, but far enough away that you won’t have vendors trying to sell you knock-off North Face jackets every time you step outside.

Honestly, with a 9.3 rating, I was expecting something good, but this place exceeded even those expectations. It’s not trying to be the fanciest hotel in Hanoi – there are definitely more luxurious options if you want to drop serious money. But for the sweet spot of location, comfort, and actually helpful service, Eliana Signature nails it. I’d definitely stay here again, and I’m pretty particular about hotels.

  Very Vietnamese property which is very close to the Lake. Staff were amazing. Breakfast was good. Bedding was comfortable. They went out of their way to make our anniversary special by decorating up our room and giving us a beautiful fruit platter.

  Our stay was so comfy as the staff made us feel like we're home. They're very kind and accomodating, especially Senila and Rose. Kudos to these two young ladies! They helped us with everything. 🧡

  What could be improved: I just need to mention about the shower because I think there was a problem with its nozzle, temperature was a bit hot than its supposed to. But other than that,I'd give our stay a 10star rating.

  Convenient location in the old quarter, friendly staff and a delicious restaurant. The styling in the rooms is cool and fun, and staff were helpful with suggestions on attractions to visit.

  Good sized room. Great breakfast. Everyone went out of their way to make us feel welcome. Only a few mins walk from the lake and Old Quarter. We went to the sky bar next door for happy hour and great sunset.
  
  What could be improved: We were on the first floor above the staff area so it got very noisy early in the morning. Ask for a room higher up.

  The staff were absolutely amazing. They were so kind and friendly and helped us out with some problems we had. The hotel was beautiful and the rooms were gorgeous and very confortable. The location was fantastic, close to lots of cafes and restaurants and the water puppet show. The breakfast was amazing as well with so many hot and cold options. We loved our stay and would love to come back!

  I can not express enough how friendly the ladies on reception are.. Jessica truly made us feel very welcome.
  The hotel was well priced, and the room was large and clean. Bed was comfortable also.
  They have a restaurant also which serves awesome local food at good prices, try it..
  
  I stayed here and also the hotel immediately next door, and I would choose Eliana every time..
  
  What could be improved: Unattended Housekeeping cart blocking the elevator on our level was not easy to get around when ready to check out. A little for thought on their part would go a long way.. otherwise nothing at all to complain about.
