Hanoi Fiesta Hotel & Spa Overview
First Impressions
Walking into Hanoi Fiesta Hotel & Spa, you immediately sense you’ve found something special in the maze of Hanoi’s Old Quarter. The four-star property sits right on Hang Muoi street, and honestly, the location couldn’t be better — I mean, you’re literally steps away from Hoan Kiem Lake and surrounded by the energy that makes this neighborhood so captivating. The lobby strikes that perfect balance between modern comfort and Vietnamese charm, with staff who actually seem genuinely happy to see you arrive.
The Heart of Old Quarter
What really sets this place apart is how it puts you right in the thick of authentic Hanoi life. You can walk to the lake in about three minutes, but more importantly, you’re surrounded by the real deal — street food vendors setting up their tiny plastic stools, motorbikes weaving through narrow alleys, and that incredible mix of French colonial architecture and traditional Vietnamese shophouses. Couples especially love wandering these streets together (and I can see why — there’s something romantic about getting delightfully lost in those winding lanes). The hotel’s position means you can experience the morning energy of locals heading to work, then retreat upstairs when the afternoon heat gets intense.
Rooms and Comfort
The rooms at Hanoi Fiesta Hotel & Spa feel like a calm refuge after a day of exploring the bustling streets below. They’ve managed to soundproof things pretty well, which is no small feat considering you’re in one of the liveliest parts of the city. The spa facilities are actually worth using too — after walking on uneven sidewalks and climbing temple steps all day, a proper massage hits differently. The air conditioning works reliably (trust me, this matters in Hanoi’s humidity), and the beds are comfortable enough that you’ll sleep well despite any lingering excitement from your adventures.
Breakfast Worth Waking Up For
Here’s where they really surprised me — the breakfast spread is genuinely impressive. You’ve got your standard continental options, but they also do a proper full English breakfast if you’re craving something hearty. What I loved most was the Asian selection, including some Vietnamese dishes that let you ease into local flavors if you’re feeling cautious about street food. They handle dietary restrictions well too, with clear vegan and gluten-free options that don’t feel like afterthoughts. You know what’s smart? They offer breakfast to go, which is perfect when you want to catch sunrise at the lake or get an early start on a day trip.
Why Guests Love It
The location score of 9.3 isn’t just a number — it reflects how this hotel connects you to the real Hanoi experience while keeping you comfortable. You’re close enough to hear the city’s rhythm but far enough from the main tourist drags to feel like you’re discovering something authentic. The staff genuinely knows the neighborhood and can point you toward the best pho spot or help you navigate the weekend night market chaos. It’s that rare combination of being perfectly positioned without feeling touristy, and honestly, that balance is harder to find than you might think in a city as popular as Hanoi.

Reviews of Hanoi Fiesta Hotel & Spa

The most memorable thing about this hotel was how the front desk staff made us feel welcome during our short stay here in Vietnam. Some of them are enthusiastic to practice their English with you, and some of them are diligent to make our stay here as comfortable as possible. It is my first time staying in a boutique hotel, and the experience is wonderful. It is hard to describe what makes this hotel special, but take the time to see and feel the hearts of these people. They want you to have a good vacation here in Hanoi.

Everything was perfect.

Staff were amazing, very attentive and friendly! It is very easy to communicate as all of them speaks English very well. Rooms are very comfortable, spacious and clean. The housekeepers arranges and tidies up the room daily. Location wise, it is inside old quarter but in a quiet street. Everything is walking distance like beer street, hoan kiem lake, etc. Would definitely stay here again 😊

The staff were wonderful. Especially Celina she helped me and mum out. The staff were so attentive and happy to help. Always greeted us with a smile even when they were busy.
The rooms were cleaned every day. The only thing I would say is that they do need a bit of a vacuum. The floors were pretty dusty. However they were a great size. I found that the beds were comfortable and the amenities provided were helpful.
It was great to have breakfast there everyday, however some more vegetarian options could be provided but you won't go hungry if you are vegetarian. They also provide small bowls of Pho if you didn't want a big bowl that day.
The location is fantastic. Really close to everything you could want to do in the Old Quarter.
I would happily return in a heartbeat.
What could be improved: This is not the hotel's fault but the hotel and the area are quite noisy. You can hear everything happening inside and outside the hotel. There are some ear plugs provided but if you're a light sleeper bring some ear plugs.
Also there isn't really a Spa inside the hotel. You can get a massage inside your room, however if you want another service you have to go out to a spa that is affiliate with the hotel. The staff there will help you book the treatment though.Hamed from Oman – 21 June 2024 (9/10)
The hotel is located near by almost everything in old quarter, loved how the room was very clean and comfortable to stay in & thanks to all lovely staff who were helpful anytime I needed anything, as well as they do provide activities with reasonable prices. Definitely recommended.

We got an incredible deal, and if we would rate Hanoi Fiesta based on what we paid, it would easily get 30 out of 10 points. However, we believe even at full price, this is a nice hotel.
The king-size bed was huge and so comfortable, with 4 wonderful pillows. Actually, this might have been the most comfortable bed we've ever slept in. The room had plenty of space and was immaculately cleaned. It had a nice bathroom, a huge TV, nice lighting, and everything one could wish for.
The staff was so welcoming, friendly, and helpful, and spoke good English.
The breakfast buffet has some Vietnamese and Western options, and we also liked the view from the 8th floor.
The hotel is located just on the edge of the Old Quarter, which worked very well for us.
We travel low budget cycling around the world, and this was by far the most luxurious accommodation we've had in all of two years. We paid so much less than what we got.
What could be improved: As we paid only about a third of what would probably be a normal rate we wouldn't dare to complain. However, if we would pay the full price, there is still room for improvement here and there, although on a high level.
The fridge in the room could be a lot cooler (or stay on when one leaves the room).
In the breakfast rooftop restaurant it can get quite warm on hot and sunny mornings.Deanna from United Kingdom – 25 May 2024 (9/10)
Very nice hotel, our room was a great size, extremely clean and nicely decorated. Very comfortable bed, nice bathroom and hot water! We booked a sleeper bus from another location that unfortunately meant we had to check in at 4am, but the reception staff were very kind and helpful when we checked in at this time. On check out they helped arrange a taxi to the airport!
What could be improved: Nothing we didn't like! wish we could have stayed longer!Lucas from Vietnam – 14 May 2024 (9/10)
The staff was very receptive and willing to help. The girl called Celine in the restaurant speaks English clearly and was helpful taking care of us by asking what we needed and bringing what we requested. I assume her major is in hospitality because we also work for hotels and she was doing more than what expected.
What could be improved: There is nothing wrong I could notice in the 2 days my friends and I stayed in.Elena from Australia – 5 March 2024 (9/10)
You can expect a comfortable stay with the attentive staff here. From the welcoming reception to the helpful breakfast team, everyone is friendly and accommodating. We were pleasantly surprised with a room upgrade, and the bathroom was modern with a good shower.
Breakfast is a delightful mix of Vietnamese specialties, toast, fresh fruit, and eggs made just how you like them.
What could be improved: The area can get a bit noisy with traffic, but with our earplugs on hand, we had no problem with it.Lingfang from Singapore – 4 March 2024 (9/10)
Great service from the friendly staff!
What could be improved: None.
