You know what caught me off guard about Hanoi L’Heritage? It’s tucked right into the heart of the Old Quarter on Hang Ga Street, but somehow they’ve managed to create this little oasis that actually feels removed from the chaos outside. I mean, you’re literally steps away from all that motorbike madness and street food steam, but once you’re inside, there’s this surprisingly calm vibe that I wasn’t expecting from a hotel in this location.

The building itself has this French colonial thing going on – which honestly works really well in this part of Hanoi where you’ve got that whole blend of Vietnamese and French architecture anyway. What I really appreciated was how they’ve kept some of those original details but updated everything else properly. The rooms are what I’d call thoughtfully designed rather than flashy – good lighting (which matters more than people realize), actually comfortable beds, and bathrooms that make sense. The spa and gym facilities are solid too, though I’ll be honest, after walking around the Old Quarter all day, I was more interested in that spa than hitting any treadmill.

Here’s the thing about staying right on Hang Ga Street – you’re in the thick of everything, but you need to know what you’re getting into. Early mornings are actually pretty peaceful, but by 8 AM you’ve got that familiar Hanoi street symphony starting up. The hotel does a decent job with soundproofing, but if you’re a super light sleeper, maybe pack some earplugs. That said, being this central means you can walk to Hoan Kiem Lake in about three minutes, and you’re surrounded by some genuinely great street food spots that most tourists never find because they’re staying out in the newer districts. The hotel staff – and this seems to be true at a lot of places in Vietnam, but especially here – actually know the neighborhood and can point you toward the good stuff rather than just handing you a generic tourist map. Check-in was smooth, none of that awkward waiting around, and they were pretty flexible about storage when I arrived early. The whole experience just felt more personal than what you usually get at hotels in prime locations like this.

  Great friendly and helpful staff. Great location. Classy, old- school charming lobby and room, and nice. Great breakfast with fantastic views. Roof top bar a nice option when you want something close. Surrounding area has lots of options for drinks or food.

  The hotel is very accessible to dining places and shopping. My Bui attended to us when we arrived and took time explaining the package tours and shopping places. My and her colleagues were all very helpful and accommodating.
  The breakfast buffet spread is simple but very delicious. All the best to My Bui and the rest of the staff at Lheritage Hotel.

  Very nice hotel with friendly staff spotless rooms and very good location..Have just about walked everywhere during our stay and any issues we have had have been promptly fixed. Breakfast buffet was delicious. Definitely recommend this hotel.

  Fantastic hotel in middle of old quarter from the moment we entered the hotel. All the staff were very attentive and very eager to please our needs. The breakfast on the top floor was very nice with lots of fresh pastry and hot food. The beds were super comfortable and the rooms very quiet with double laminated windows. Bathrooms were spotlessly clean and very well appointed. Cannot recommend this hotel enough

  We stayed for 2 nights at the Hanoi Lheritage Hotel & Spa and found it fantastic.
  Our room on 7. Floor was very well equipped, the bed absolutely comfortable and comfortable. Despite the central location in the lively old town, our room was very quiet. The location is great, most sights are within walking distance. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful and give lots of tips on excursions and sightseeing. A clear recommendation when visiting Hanoi's Old Town!

  Very clean hotel right in the middle of Hanoi Old Square. All the key streets in old square are accessible by foot. Staff members are very professional and also super helpful. They good best care of us during our stay. Rooms are tidy and well maintained.

  I have a great stayed during my Hanoi holiday. Breakfast was marvelous. Special request for a bathtub room that was clean and comfortable. All staffs mostly I met are friendly and I felt very welcomed. Special thanks to Ms My Bui and Ms Huong Nguyen, both of them shared a lot of information about sightseeing in Hanoi.   The hotel is in a very good location. Very accessible to cafes restaurants and shopping places. It is not on a busy main road. It is quiet at night. The hotel is clean.

  My husband and I stayed at Lheritage Hotel as one of our stops on our honeymoon. We had the best experience! We arranged a car transfer from the airport which went very smoothly. Then when we arrived, we received excellent service our whole stay. Everyone was so friendly and accommodating. The room was very clean and nice. The food, drinks, and service at the top floor was excellent. The breakfast buffet was delicious as well. We would definitely recommend to anyone coming to Vietnam!

  The room was beautiful and clean. The food for breakfast was ample and delicious. We also used the gym and loved it – not the biggest but it doesn't need to be, for a hotel gym. Through it all, one thing worth highlighting is the SERVICE. 10/10 from everyone there, from the moment we arrived to our checkout experience. We could always rely on them for food recommendations, shopping places and even the train schedules for us to watch the train street. Special shoutout to My Bui who made sure we were welcomed from the moment we arrived and honestly made our 48-hour stay so worthwhile.
