You know what caught me off guard about this place? The name is honestly a mouthful – “High-ser Apt w Greenview, Projector and 2BR incenter” – but it’s actually pretty accurate once you’re there. I mean, they really do have that projector setup, and the green view they’re talking about isn’t just marketing fluff. From the living room window, you’re looking out at this surprisingly lush little pocket of Dong Da district that makes you forget you’re in the middle of Hanoi for a minute.

The location on Nguyen Khuyen Street is one of those spots that works really well if you know the area. It’s tucked into ngõ 115, which is narrow enough that you’ll probably walk past it the first time (I did), but once you figure it out, you’re actually in a pretty sweet spot. The alley keeps things quiet – no motorbike traffic honking you awake at 6 AM like some places closer to the main drag. Walking to the Old Quarter takes about 15 minutes if you cut through the side streets, and there’s this excellent bánh mì lady just two blocks over who sets up around 7 AM. The apartment itself feels genuinely spacious, which is saying something for Hanoi. The two bedrooms are properly sized – not those cramped afterthoughts you sometimes get where you’re bumping into the walls. The projector thing is actually pretty cool for rainy evenings, though honestly, the Wi-Fi can be a bit spotty when everyone in the building is streaming something.

What I really appreciated was how lived-in it feels without being worn down, you know? The furniture isn’t that sterile hotel stuff – there’s a dining table where you can actually spread out your map and plan your day, and the kitchen has real plates, not just those flimsy things that crack if you look at them wrong. The hosts seem to get that people want to feel settled when they stay somewhere for more than a night or two. Check-in was smooth enough, though you’ll want to coordinate timing since it’s not like a hotel front desk. The building’s got decent soundproofing – I could hear some street noise during the day, but nothing that kept me up at night. And that 8.3 rating makes sense when you factor in the space, the actual amenities that work, and the fact that you’re getting a proper apartment experience rather than just a room with a bed. It’s the kind of place where you might actually cook breakfast instead of rushing out to find coffee, which in Hanoi, is saying something.

  We stayed here for 4 nights, in April 2024. Overall we really liked the location and price of the apartment, and how there was a washing machine which was very convenient for us at this point of our travelling.
  There were lots of cafes and food stalls nearby , and it wasn’t too far from the old quarter.. walking distance if the weather is agreeable!!! 🥵 otherwise you can easily grab a grab .. so so cheap!
  
  What could be improved: Personally we would have liked if there were hand towels, tea towels for the kitchen along with clean, fresh sponges for cleaning dishes as the clothes and sponges that were left were not freshly cleaned.
  There needs to be bath mats in both bathrooms as the floors get very slippy.
  We found the mattress very hard to sleep on, a mattress topper would be a good idea perhaps to add to the comfort for your guests.

  The property was clean and there were sufficient amenities
  Owner and staff were friendly and accommodating. No problem checking in and out.
  
  What could be improved: No separate soap in toilet for washing hands, have to use the body shower lotion or the soap at the sink
  More blankets and pillows would be nice if someone needed to sleep at the sofa
