What struck me first was how modern everything looked, from the sleek lobby to the high-speed elevators that actually work properly (you know how hit-or-miss that can be in Vietnam). The four-star rating feels spot-on here, maybe even conservative.

Location & Neighborhood

Vinhomes Ocean Park is about 30 minutes from Hanoi’s Old Quarter, which might sound far but trust me on this — it’s worth the distance. The complex has its own artificial beach (I mean, it’s basically a massive lagoon), shopping centers, and restaurants, so you’re not exactly roughing it out in the suburbs. I noticed tons of couples here, and after staying a few nights, I totally get why the romantic vibe works so well. There’s something about having that urban resort feel while still being connected to the city that just hits different for a getaway.

The Apartment Experience

The apartment itself is spacious — like, actually spacious, not just “spacious for Vietnam” spacious. Floor-to-ceiling windows give you these incredible views of either the lagoon or the city skyline, depending on which way you’re facing. The kitchen is fully equipped (rare for hotel-style accommodations), and the living area has this contemporary design that feels both comfortable and Instagram-worthy. What I really appreciated was the attention to detail — good water pressure in the shower, blackout curtains that actually block light, and air conditioning that keeps up with Hanoi’s humidity.

Here’s where staying in Vinhomes Ocean Park really pays off. You’ve got access to the entire complex’s facilities — swimming pools, the artificial beach, walking paths, even a decent gym. The apartment comes with all the basics you’d expect, plus some nice touches like a washer-dryer combo and a proper work desk (digital nomads, take note). Room service isn’t traditional hotel-style, but there are so many food delivery options within the complex that it hardly matters. The Wi-Fi is solid throughout, which honestly can make or break a stay these days.

Why Guests Love It

That 9.9 rating isn’t just numbers — you can feel it in how well everything runs here. The combination of modern apartment living with resort-style amenities creates this perfect middle ground between a hotel and a proper residence. Couples especially seem drawn to the romantic atmosphere (the sunset views from the higher floors are pretty spectacular), but I think anyone looking for a more relaxed base in Hanoi would appreciate the space and tranquility.   The location was beautiful and so was the apartment. Only 20-30 minutes from the centre. If you want a relaxing time and enjoy Hanoi, this apartment is amazing. The host was also extremely helpful and friendly. He helped me out with everything, from information to anything needed. Will probably stay here again next time I am back.

  You stay at the owner's apartment in a quiet area of Hanoi, it is like the suburbs of Hanoi. So there is not much to do at this location and it's kinda far (30 minutes) from the old quarter where most tourists stay. Anyways if that doesn't bother you and you wish for a more quiet neighborhood, then this place was awesome. The room is pretty big, with a nice balcon view. It was clean. The host was also very helpful. He arranged an airport transfer to the hotel, which I recommend doing. Communication with the host was also very good, he gave me some nice tips on things to do in Hanoi. Thank you, Tuan for the hospitality!

  L'appartement est très fidèle aux photos. La vue depuis l'appartement est magnifique. Le quartier, qui est très résidentiel, très propre, très sécuritaire (trottoirs, passages piétons, éclairage) est un paradis pour les enfants : nombreuses aires de jeux, piscines. Le quartier est très récent et très bien entretenu. Il y a de la verdure et beaucoup de petits magasins et restaurants aux alentours. A noter, car ça pourrait déranger certaines personnes, qu'il n'y a pas d'eau chaude dans l'appartement. C'était aussi le cas dans les autres appartements de ce voisinage que j'ai eu l'occasion de visiter. Il y a très peu d'étrangers ici et les locaux, qui sont très gentils et avenants, ne parlent pas très bien anglais. Cependant, ça ne pose aucun souci pour les besoins du quotidien. Certains enfants parlent bien anglais en revanche. C'est définitivement un endroit où je pourrais apprécier vivre sur le long terme si ce n'était pas si compliqué d'obtenir des visas long terme pour le Vietnam. Aussi, les propriétaires de l'appartements sont toujours très gentils, disponibles et serviables. Vous serez bien accueillis ! Je garde de très bons souvenirs de mon séjour ici.
