The bedrooms are surprisingly quiet considering you’re right in the Old Quarter, though you’ll definitely hear the morning motorbike symphony around 6 AM. That’s just Hanoi life, honestly. What I really appreciated were the little touches that show someone actually thought about what travelers need – proper shower pressure (thank god), decent Wi-Fi throughout, and a kitchen that’s actually functional if you want to grab stuff from the weekend market on Hàng Bè Street. The air conditioning works well too, which you’ll definitely need from May through September.

The balcony is where this place really shines though. It’s not huge, but it fits a small table and chairs, and there’s something magical about having your morning coffee while watching the organized chaos of Old Quarter life wake up below. You’re close enough to everything that matters – Ngọc Sơn Temple is right there, the night market on weekends is a five-minute stroll, and honestly, some of the best phở places in the city are within walking distance. I particularly loved being near Bách Phương Street for late-night snacks. The staff were genuinely helpful too, not just going through the motions – they actually gave me solid recommendations for places that weren’t tourist traps. Check-in was smooth, and they were flexible when my flight got delayed. Look, it’s not luxury – this is solidly comfortable with character, which I think suits Hanoi perfectly. For the price point and location, especially with that balcony space in the heart of the Old Quarter, it’s honestly hard to beat.

  Close proximity to the Railway Cafe.
  Agent was nice & flexible.
  
  What could be improved: Dark pathway to the steps of the place. For a group of four, it was a work out to bring eight 50lbs luggages up two flights of stairs.
