The village itself has a few local spots where you can grab decent phở in the morning (there’s this one place about 200 meters down the main road that locals actually eat at), and honestly, watching the daily rhythm of a Vietnamese farming community is pretty fascinating if you slow down enough to notice it. Parking is never an issue – there’s plenty of space, which again, anyone who’s dealt with Hanoi will appreciate. The 7-star rating feels about right to me; it’s not going to blow your mind, but there’s nothing really wrong with it either. I think where it loses a point or two is just that some of the amenities feel a bit basic for what you’re paying, and the Wi-Fi can be spotty depending on which room you’re in. But if you’re looking for a genuine break from city life without completely roughing it, Villa 109 delivers on that promise.
