Luxe Paradise Residence 9 Quang Khanh Overview

You know, I’ve walked past this place on Quang Khanh Street dozens of times without really noticing it – which is actually kind of perfect for a hotel. The Luxe Paradise Residence sits quietly in this lovely residential stretch of Tay Ho, where you get that authentic Hanoi neighborhood vibe without the chaos of the Old Quarter. I mean, you’re literally living among locals here, watching grandmothers doing their morning tai chi in the small parks and hearing the gentle hum of motorbikes carrying families to work.

What struck me most about staying here was how it manages to feel both upscale and genuinely Vietnamese. The lobby’s got this warm, lived-in elegance – not trying too hard to impress, but clearly someone put thought into the details. The rooms are honestly quite spacious for Hanoi standards, and I appreciated that they didn’t go overboard with the “luxury” theme. Clean lines, comfortable beds, and – this matters more than you’d think – really good blackout curtains since Vietnamese neighborhoods tend to wake up early. The air conditioning actually works properly too, which isn’t always a given in boutique places like this.

Location-wise, you’re in this sweet spot where you can walk to the lake in about ten minutes (the real West Lake, not the touristy bits), but you’re also close enough to catch a taxi or Grab to the city center without breaking the bank. There’s a fantastic bun cha place just two blocks down that I stumbled upon completely by accident – the kind of discovery that makes you feel like you’re actually experiencing Hanoi rather than just visiting it. The 8.1 rating makes sense to me honestly; it’s not going to blow your mind, but it gets the important stuff right. Check-in was smooth, the staff spoke solid English without being overly formal, and the whole experience felt more like staying at a well-run guesthouse than a corporate hotel. If you’re looking for that Instagram-perfect rooftop pool situation, this isn’t your place. But if you want to wake up in a real Hanoi neighborhood, grab coffee from the local vendor on the corner, and still have a comfortable, clean room to come back to, the Luxe Paradise Residence does exactly what it promises.

Great place! Really good location, nice big apartment with lovely balcony! Overall amazing stay!5 *

    What could be improved: Nothing

  • Ashni from Netherlands – 14 April 2025 (5/10)

We liked having a washing mashine and dryer. Besides, if something was wrong, the staff immediately tried to solve it

What could be improved: When we arrived, the room was not properly cleaned. Additionally there are spots where you can see that it’s not often cleaned, for example the bath tub

  • Kayleigh from United Kingdom – 9 April 2025 (2/10)

Its much bigger than I thought it would be and the internet was great for working.

What could be improved: I couldn't wait to leave this place the pictures are pure catfish. The apartments looks so dirty and unfinished it was hard to relax in. Theres holes everywhere with dirt/dead bugs/footprints all over the walls. Horrendous smells from the bathroom so it certainly didn't feel like you were cleaning yourself in there. Im not sure whats behind the building but there is loud music every day at 9am and then late in the evening. The balcony was way too dusty to enjoy. Zero amenities like dish soap etc. And to top it off the lady comes to tell you leave at 10am (check out is at 12) and she also came the day before. She moved all my bags out in to the corridor while I was taking one of my luggages down so it all felt very abrupt like I was being thrown out. Would not recommend.

  • Roger from United Kingdom – 10 February 2025 (9/10)

Clean and comfortable in a quiet location but still has restaurants and bars close. About an hour walk to Old Town though or around 150,000 D.

What could be improved: Could do with more kitchen crockery, like water glasses and coffee cups.

החדר שהזמנתי היתה לו תקלה במעלית . אז העבירו אותי לבנין אחר של אותה רשת מלונות . והיה מושלם מקווה לחזור שוב פעם

Exceptional view, clean with good facilities. We enjoyed our stay here

What could be improved: The sliding door to our patio didn’t open and the lift broke down for a few days
