Luxe Paradise Suites Dich Vong Hau Overview

You know what surprised me most about Luxe Paradise Suites? It’s tucked away on this quiet stretch of Dịch Vọng Hậu street where you’d never expect to find something this polished. I mean, Cau Giay district isn’t exactly where tourists usually end up, but that’s actually part of what makes this place special – you’re staying where Hanoi locals actually live and work.

The suites themselves are honestly impressive for a 4-star place. When I walked into my room, the first thing I noticed was how much space there was to actually spread out – not just enough room to squeeze around the bed like some hotels in the Old Quarter. The kitchenette was properly equipped too, which came in handy since there’s this fantastic little market about a 10-minute walk away on Nguyen Khanh Toan street where vendors sell the most incredible banh mi in the mornings. The staff at check-in were surprisingly sharp with their English, and they actually knew the neighborhood well enough to give real recommendations, not just the standard tourist spots.

What really won me over was the location’s sweet spot factor. You’re close enough to the action – maybe 15 minutes by taxi to Hoan Kiem Lake – but far enough away that you’re not dealing with the constant honking and street food smoke that can get overwhelming in the city center. The Korean BBQ place downstairs gets pretty lively on weekend nights (fair warning if you’re a light sleeper), but during the week it’s actually quite peaceful. There’s decent parking too, which is basically a miracle in Hanoi if you’re planning to rent a motorbike. The nearby Vincom shopping center is perfect for grabbing essentials or escaping the heat for a few hours, and honestly, watching how locals shop there was more interesting than half the museums I visited. The whole area feels authentic in a way that tourist districts just can’t match – you’ll see office workers grabbing lunch, students hanging out at cafes, and families doing their evening shopping. It’s that real Hanoi rhythm that makes you feel like you’re actually experiencing the city, not just passing through it.

Reviews of Luxe Paradise Suites Dich Vong Hau

  • Jonathan from United Kingdom – 27 January 2025 (9/10)

A huge apartment suite with all facilities working well. Excellent water pressure in the shower, good modern AC, and a comfortable bed. The room is quiet – we didn’t hear any traffic noise at all. Staff at reception were very helpful and even let us use the printer for printing visas for our flight. The location is close to one of Hanoi’s bus terminals, which is why we used it, and it is a very comfortable overnight stop if you are planning onward journeys – it was a quick journey to the airport, too.

What could be improved: Not much! We only stayed one night as we were travelling the next day. If you’re a tourist: the location perfect for transit but if you’re looking for a base to explore Hanoi, you should go closer to the Old Quarter. The surrounding area is nice but it’s more for businesses and students.
