Tucked away on Phố Lò Sũ, this three-bedroom spot sits in one of those narrow Old Quarter streets where you can practically touch the buildings on both sides. But here’s the thing about being right in Hoan Kiem – you’re literally a five-minute walk from the lake, and honestly, that morning ritual of grabbing coffee and watching the tai chi crowds is worth the premium alone.

The space itself feels more like staying at a well-traveled friend’s place than a typical hotel setup. Three proper bedrooms means you’re not dealing with that cramped feeling you get in most Hanoi accommodations, and whoever designed this place actually thought about how people live. The kitchen’s got everything you need if you want to cook – which, let me tell you, comes in handy when you’re staying longer or traveling with kids who get tired of pho for breakfast. The air conditioning works properly (no small feat in Vietnam’s humidity), and the WiFi is solid enough for video calls back home. I mean, the 9.1 rating isn’t just inflated reviews – people genuinely seem happy here.

What really sets this place apart though is the location knowledge the hosts have. They don’t just hand you a generic map; they’ll tell you which entrance to the weekend night market is less crowded, or that the best bánh mì spot is actually two blocks over, not the touristy one everyone posts about. Phố Lò Sũ itself is one of those streets that gives you the real Old Quarter experience – narrow enough that motorbikes slow down, old enough that the buildings have character, but not so touristy that you’re dodging selfie sticks every morning. The noise level is manageable too, which honestly surprised me. Sure, you’ll hear the city (it’s Hanoi, after all), but it’s not the constant honking chaos of some areas. Check-in was refreshingly straightforward – none of that awkward waiting around while they figure out your reservation. The whole experience just feels… thoughtful, I guess? Like someone put actual consideration into what travelers need versus what looks good in photos.

  דירה עם חדרים גדולים ומרווחים במיקום מרכזי ומצויין בעיר העתיקה. היינו 6 וזה היה לנו טוב. בעלת בית זמינה ועוזרת בכל דבר. תמורה מעולה למחיר ששילמנו. כנראה שלא היינו מוצאים תמורה כזו במיקום כזה.
  
  What could be improved: חשוב לדעת שהחלל המרכזי מעט קטן וללא חלונות ושהדרך מהרחוב לבית עוברת בסמטה של 20 מטרים אפלים ולא נעימים.

  Plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms, and the location was fantastic (allows walking distance to most things).
  
  Linh was an absolutely wonderful host and was always responsive and ready to go out of her way to help. We had to do a 3 day 2 night trip to Sapa and had nowhere to store our luggage, and Linh graciously offered to look after our luggage for that period.
