Luxury Apt 2BR – VinHomes Dcapitle Tran Duy Hung Street Overview
You know what surprised me most about this place? It’s actually in one of those gleaming VinHomes towers that completely changed the Tran Duy Hung skyline, but somehow it doesn’t feel sterile like a lot of these newer developments do. I mean, when you first walk into the building lobby, sure, it’s all marble and mirrors – very impressive if you’re into that sort of thing – but once you get up to the apartment itself, it feels like someone actually lives there.
The two-bedroom setup is honestly perfect for families or groups who don’t want to feel cramped. I was staying there during one of Hanoi’s sweltering summer weeks, and the air conditioning kept up beautifully (which, let’s be real, is make-or-break in this city). The kitchen’s got everything you need if you want to grab ingredients from the Lotte Mart down the street, though honestly, with all the incredible street food practically at your doorstep, I barely used it. What I did love was having that morning coffee on the balcony – you get this view over the neighborhood that shows you both the old Hanoi character and all this rapid development happening. Sometimes you can hear the construction noise from nearby sites during the day, but it dies down in the evenings, and the soundproofing is actually pretty decent.
Location-wise, this is where it gets interesting. Cau Giay isn’t exactly the Old Quarter that most tourists think of, but that’s sort of the point – you’re living where actual Hanoians live and work. The Keangnam Tower is literally a few minutes’ walk away, and there’s this whole business district energy during the week that I found energizing. Getting around is easy too; motorbike taxis are everywhere, and if you’re comfortable with Grab, you can get to Hoan Kiem Lake in about fifteen minutes when traffic cooperates (which, fair warning, isn’t always). The building’s got decent security and the elevators are fast, which matters more than you’d think when you’re coming and going multiple times a day. I will say the check-in process was smooth – someone met me at the lobby right on time, though communication was mostly in Vietnamese with some English mixed in. The WiFi is solid, the beds are comfortable, and there’s enough storage space that you won’t be living out of your suitcase. For the price point and that 8.5 rating, it delivers exactly what you’d expect from a four-star stay, just in a more residential, less touristy part of the city.

Reviews of Luxury Apt 2BR – VinHomes Dcapitle Tran Duy Hung Street
Hyangsuk from United States – 30 April 2025 (7/10)
The location is not a tourist area so it is not crowded and there are Korean grocery stores and restaurants nearby so it was nice.
What could be improved: It's an apartment, but it lacks basic things. Cups, spoons, coffee, tea, etc. I don't know because I don't cook, but it's enough to heat up food. I don't mind, but it's not too far from Hanoi's Old Quarter, but it takes a long time because of the heavy traffic.Thanh from United States – 15 September 2024 (9/10)
The location is great. It’s close to a lot of shopping and restaurants.
