Luxury Apt 2BR – VinHomes Dcapitle Tran Duy Hung Street Overview
First Impressions
Walking into Luxury Apt 2BR – VinHomes Dcapitle Tran Duy Hung Street feels more like arriving at a friend’s upscale apartment than checking into a traditional hotel. The building itself is part of VinHomes’ modern development, and honestly, the lobby has that sleek, contemporary Vietnamese design that immediately tells you this is a well-managed property. What struck me right away was how quiet everything felt despite being in the heart of Hanoi — the soundproofing here is actually impressive for a four-star place.
Location & Neighborhood
You know what’s great about Tran Duy Hung Street? It’s perfectly positioned between the chaos of Old Quarter and the business district, so you get the best of both worlds without the constant motorbike symphony. I mean, you’re still in Hanoi so there’s definitely traffic, but this stretch feels more manageable. The Cau Giay district has become quite popular with both locals and expats — there are decent coffee shops within walking distance, and you can actually find a proper Western breakfast if you need a break from pho. Plus, having private parking on-site is honestly a game-changer if you’re planning to rent a car or motorbike.
The Apartment Experience
The two-bedroom setup is genuinely spacious by Hanoi standards, and I was pleasantly surprised by how thoughtfully everything was arranged. The kitchen is actually functional — not just decorative like in some serviced apartments — with a proper refrigerator and cooking facilities that you’d actually want to use. The living area has floor-to-ceiling windows that let in tons of natural light, which makes the whole space feel much larger than it is. Each bedroom has its own character, and the master bedroom’s ensuite bathroom is well-appointed with modern fixtures that work properly (always a concern in Vietnam, but not here).
Practical Comforts
What I really appreciated was how well-equipped everything felt for longer stays. The washing machine is tucked away neatly, there’s reliable Wi-Fi throughout, and the air conditioning is powerful enough to handle Hanoi’s humid summers without sounding like a jet engine. The building’s amenities include a decent gym and what looks like a swimming pool area, though I’ll admit I spent most of my time exploring the city. The housekeeping service strikes a good balance — thorough when they come by, but not intrusive if you prefer your privacy.
Why Guests Love It
Couples seem to gravitate toward this place, and I can see why — there’s something romantic about having your own temporary home base in Hanoi rather than just another hotel room. The space gives you room to breathe and actually unpack, which makes a difference when you’re staying more than a few nights. The location scores consistently high because you’re close enough to everything that matters but far enough from the tourist crowds to feel like you’re experiencing a more authentic side of the city. It’s that sweet spot where you get modern comfort without sacrificing the adventure of being in Vietnam’s capital.

The location is not a tourist area so it is not crowded and there are Korean grocery stores and restaurants nearby so it was nice.
What could be improved: It's an apartment, but it lacks basic things. Cups, spoons, coffee, tea, etc. I don't know because I don't cook, but it's enough to heat up food. It's an apartment, but it lacks basic things. Cups, spoons, coffee, tea, etc. I don't know because I don't cook, but it's enough to heat up food. I don't mind, but it's not too far from Hanoi's Old Quarter, but it takes a long time because of the heavy traffic.Thanh from United States – 15 September 2024 (9/10)
The location is great. It’s close to a lot of shopping and restaurants.
