Studio-Vincent Apartment HaNoi Overview
Look, I’ve stayed in my fair share of Hanoi apartments over the years, and Studio-Vincent honestly surprised me. The location on Cao Bá Quát Street is one of those spots that makes you feel like you actually live in the city rather than just visiting it. You’re right in Ba Dinh district – which, if you know Hanoi at all, means you’re close to everything that matters without being stuck in the tourist chaos of the Old Quarter.
The apartment itself has this lived-in quality that I really appreciate. It’s not trying to be some sterile hotel room, you know? The studio setup works well for solo travelers or couples, and honestly, the space feels bigger than you’d expect from the photos. What really got me was the attention to small details – proper blackout curtains (trust me, this matters when you’re dealing with jet lag), a decent coffee setup, and actually functional WiFi. The bathroom’s compact but well-designed, with one of those rainfall showerheads that actually has good water pressure. I mean, you’d be surprised how many places in Hanoi get this wrong.
The building itself sits on a quieter stretch of the street, so you’re not dealing with the constant motorbike symphony that can drive you crazy in other parts of the city. Mornings here are pretty peaceful – you’ll hear the city waking up gradually rather than being jolted awake by traffic at 6 AM. Vincent (the host) is actually responsive, which seems obvious but… well, you know how hit-or-miss that can be with apartment rentals. He gave me solid recommendations for the pho place around the corner on Đội Cấn Street – the kind of spot where you’re the only foreigner, which is always a good sign. There’s also a decent bánh mì vendor about a three-minute walk away who starts setting up around 7 AM if you’re an early riser.
What I really liked was how walkable everything felt from here. The Temple of Literature is maybe a 10-minute stroll, and you can easily walk to the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum area without needing to figure out transportation. The neighborhood has that authentic Hanoi residential vibe – tree-lined streets, local cafes where people actually work rather than just pose for Instagram, and enough street food options to keep you fed for weeks. The nearby Lotte Tower area gives you modern conveniences when you need them, but it doesn’t dominate the neighborhood feel.
I’ll be honest – the building’s elevator is a bit temperamental, and the studio can get warm in the afternoons if you’re visiting during summer months. But these are minor things when you’re paying significantly less than hotel rates for a space that feels like home. The 9.2 rating makes sense to me – it’s not luxury, but it’s thoughtfully done and genuinely comfortable. If you’re looking for that sweet spot between local immersion and modern comfort in Hanoi, this place gets it right.

This apartment is spacious, exceptionally clean, and well-maintained. The modern and cozy design enhances the overall comfort of the stay. Even the bathroom is spotless and well-equipped.
The room includes a mini kitchen and microwave, which is very convenient for preparing ready-to-eat meals.
Additionally, the rooftop is equipped with free washing machines and dryers, making laundry hassle-free—guests only need to bring their own detergent.
Overall, the facilities are excellent, and I would definitely choose to stay here again in the future.
What could be improved: To reach the city center, it is recommended to take a Grab or taxi. Walking is also an option, though it takes approximately 30 minutes (around 2 km).Bernadette from Australia – 19 April 2025 (9/10)

Host was super helpful and friendly. Ahead was also very responsive to messages. Place was spacious and clean. I liked the location, easy walk into the old town within 10-15 minutes whilst being a little bit outside the hustle and bustle.

The Studio was a big one with all the facilities like kitchenware, toiletries, towels , sheets and also a washing machine on the roof top with a Dryer , as mentioned on the site. The room and bathroom were clean and airy with a strong AirCon. They clean the room everyday and Change the towels. The The Property is within walking distance of all the main tourist attractions. The Train street is Just a street away and the Old Quarter is only 15 mins walk. The Host Loan is a Cute Girl who will explain everything in English during checkin. After that , One can communicate with her on Whatsapp and She responds Positively. Overall an excellent stay . Will again stay with them if in Hanoi.

Clean, comfortable and fully equipped accommodation with kitchen. We did not have any expectations but we were absolutely delighted! Truly loved our stay in the area and we got to explore a chiller side of Hanoi city. Will definitely be back.

Helpful host. Great to have access to a washing machine and dryer.
What could be improved: The street appearance was a bit of a surprise but it seemed ok. A bit of traffic noise but not enough to keep you awake.Loek from Netherlands – 8 March 2025 (10/10)
Walking distance from Hanoi Old Quarter and Thăng Long Citadel / Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum.
Studio/room was really comfortable: modern bed(room), bathroom (best shower of our Vietnam-trip), and kitchenette (altough I wonder who would use it with so many great eateries nearby).
Accommodation does not include breakfast. However, if you walk eastward, there are plenty food stalls with banh mi, pho or bun cha.
Great service! Always quick respons via Whatsapp. And we were very happy to be able to check-in at 4 AM, after arriving with a nightbus.
Would definately recommend and visit again!
What could be improved: Located in a bustling street with loads of motorbike repair shops – if you're sleeping in the front ("01"-serie rooms) the street can be a tat bit noisy between 7 AM and 9 PM. Street calms down a lot when shops close. Might be quieter if you're sleeping on the other side (102, 202, 302, etc.).Deepak from India – 6 March 2025 (10/10)
Ms Loan was there to receive us. She gave us a guided tour of all the facilities available in the apartment and how to operate each appliance.
She was also very helpful in suggesting to us various places to visit / markets around.
The apartment was very clean and nicely maintained.
The location is so good that all the historic places as well as train street & markets are in close proximity.
What could be improved: UPVC windows are not very effective. So if you want to catch a nap in the day hours, it's a bit noisy due to continuous 2 wheeler traffic.
