V House 6 Serviced Apartment Overview
Look, I’ve stayed in my fair share of serviced apartments around Hanoi, and V House 6 actually surprised me in the best way. You know that feeling when you walk into a place and immediately think “okay, this works” – that’s exactly what happened here. It’s tucked away on Lane 171 off Nguyen Ngoc Vu, which honestly took me a minute to find the first time (the lane numbers in Cau Giay can be tricky), but once you get your bearings, you’ll realize you’ve landed in one of those perfect spots that locals know about but tourists somehow miss.
The thing about this place is it feels like someone actually thought about how people live, not just where they sleep. I mean, the kitchen setup is proper – not those sad hotel kitchenettes with a broken microwave and one fork. You can actually cook here, which matters when you’re staying longer than a few days and need a break from pho every meal (though let’s be honest, the street food around here is incredible). The apartments have this lived-in comfort that’s hard to fake, and honestly, after bouncing between sterile hotels, it was refreshing to have space that didn’t feel like a showroom. The Wi-Fi is solid too – I was working remotely during my stay and never had those frustrating connection drops that make you want to throw your laptop out the window.
What really sold me on the location is how it sits right in that sweet spot between residential Hanoi and everything you actually want to do. You’re close enough to the action in Ba Dinh and Dong Da that a quick taxi ride gets you anywhere, but far enough from the Old Quarter chaos that you can actually sleep at night. There’s a decent coffee spot about two blocks down that opens early (the owner speaks pretty good English if you need directions), and honestly, some of the best bun cha I had in the city was from a tiny place just around the corner – the kind of spot you’d never find unless you were staying in the neighborhood. The staff at V House 6 are genuinely helpful too, not just going through the motions. When I needed to extend my stay, they sorted it out without the usual bureaucratic dance, and they actually knew good answers when I asked about getting to Ninh Binh for a weekend trip. Sometimes it’s the small stuff that makes the difference, you know?

Reviews of V House 6 Serviced Apartment
Tim from Australia – 24 February 2025 (8/10)
I like that the property is a few kilometres out of the main area of Hanoi & The Old Quarter, it is also away from the main street, not much of a view but when you think about it a room is to sleep and have quiet time. Unfortunately, I had an accident whilst I was there, and the staff were fantastic in assisting with getting me medical assistance.
What could be improved: The Rooster at 4am LOL, other than that I have absolutely no complaints! I chose to have a place out of town and a reprieve from the hustle and bustle of the touristy areas. The weather was a bit crappy but it is that time of the year!Pauline from Canada – 12 January 2025 (8/10)
Cleanliness
What could be improved: No hot water in showerYury from Poland – 4 December 2024 (8/10)
We checked in upon arrival, quite late (3 am), no problem. Daily cleaning of rooms, replacement of clean towels every day.
What could be improved: If you are staying on the 7th floor, you will hear the laundry on the floor above (it didn’t bother me). There was no knife in the room; if you buy fruit, there is nothing to cut it with.
When you check in, you will need to turn on the electricity in your room yourself at the switchboard. Water heating is also switched to a separate switch, about which you most likely will not be warned.Huy from Vietnam – 20 October 2024 (9/10)
đúng như trên hình ảnh, phòng rộng rãi, sạch sẽ
What could be improved: điều hòa phòng đang dùng bình thường thì không làm mát nữa, chỉ phả hơi nóng nên phải tắt điĐức from Vietnam – 14 July 2024 (9/10)
