The taxi drivers all know the area well, and honestly, the grab rides to downtown are quick and cheap.

The rooms have this warm, lived-in elegance – think carefully chosen vintage pieces mixed with modern comfort, not that sterile luxury hotel vibe. The bathroom amenities actually smell good (small thing, but you notice), and the beds are properly comfortable, not just firm for the sake of being firm. I loved that they had real blackout curtains too – essential when you’re dealing with jet lag. The staff seems to genuinely enjoy working there, which you can tell immediately. They’re not just reciting scripts; they actually know the neighborhood and will point you toward the good stuff. One woman at the front desk told me about a weekend market nearby that ended up being a highlight of my trip. Check-in was smooth, no weird deposit drama, and they stored my luggage without any fuss when I arrived early. The 9.2 rating makes total sense once you’re there – it’s one of those places where all the small things add up to something really pleasant. Sure, it’s not the flashiest place in Hanoi, but if you want to feel like you’re staying somewhere with actual character rather than just another interchangeable hotel room, this is your spot.

  Nice and clean. In most apartments (privately rented out) furniture is of questionable quality and dirty.
  Furniture in this apartment was decent.
  The cleaning was good.
  The location in Trinh Cong Son is very good. This area is my favorite little quarter of Hanoi.
  
  What could be improved: The view. Had an apartment on the 1st floor, and there is absolutely no view from the apartment.
