Cau Giay has become this interesting blend of local life and modern development, so you get authentic Vietnamese neighborhood vibes without sacrificing convenience. The area’s particularly great for couples, which makes sense given how many romantic little cafes and quiet parks you’ll find within walking distance.

The Rooms

My room was larger than expected — Vietnamese hotels sometimes surprise you that way in the newer districts. Clean lines, comfortable bedding, and thankfully, excellent air conditioning that actually keeps up with Hanoi’s humidity. The bathroom was modern without being sterile, and I appreciated the attention to small details like proper water pressure and good lighting around the mirror. What I really liked was the soundproofing; you know how thin walls can be in some Asian hotels, but here you actually get proper rest.

The breakfast setup here is honestly one of the better ones I’ve encountered at this price point. They do a proper buffet with both continental and Asian options — so you can have your familiar toast and coffee alongside pho and fresh tropical fruits. The Vietnamese dishes are actually authentic, not the watered-down versions some hotels serve to international guests. I found myself going back for the banh mi station most mornings, and their coffee game is solid, which matters more than you’d think when you’re adjusting to Hanoi’s energy.

  Đầy đủ tiện nghi, giường êm chăn dày và đặc biệt là có nhiều bàn nên mình để đồ thoải mái.
  
  What could be improved: Không có chỗ để xe. Tủ lạnh khó tìm. Cách âm không tốt nên nếu các phòng khác đi lại hoặc bên ngoài có người dọn phòng thì sẽ ồn ào ảnh hưởng đến giấc ngủ của mình.

  Oldukça konforlu rahat bir otel. Temiz bir otel. Çalışanlar bize oldukça yardımseverdi.

  the rooms are clean enough.
  
  What could be improved: 1. deceit. Booking indicates the availability of fitness. but in fact it didn't. I chose the hotel because of the availability of fitness. for me it was important.
  
  2. I bought a number for 70 euros, but it turned out that they sell the same numbers for 30 euros. It's just embarrassing to overpay.
  3. written continental breakfast. but actually there is a very cheap vietnamese breakfast.
  4. at 4 o'clock in the morning there was a strong knock, they were chopping meat in the kitchen, the door was open to the corridor. The noise from the kitchen did not stop. The hotel staff did not want to do anything to remove this noise.

  There were only few choices for Asians and Westerns and most of were locals.
