The building sits tucked away in a quiet alley (ngõ 81, if you’re looking for it), which honestly took me a minute to find the first time, but that’s half the charm. You’re right in Ba Dinh district, practically walking distance to the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum if you’re into that sort of thing, and the whole area has this residential vibe that feels authentically Hanoi without the tourist circus.

The apartment itself – well, they’re not kidding about the luxury part. I mean, the kitchen actually has decent counter space (rare in Hanoi apartments, trust me), and the bathroom feels like it belongs in a proper hotel. What really got me though was the attention to little details. The shower pressure is solid, the air conditioning doesn’t sound like a helicopter landing, and there’s actually enough closet space for more than three shirts. The living area opens up nicely, and you get these big windows that let in good light – something you really appreciate after staying in some of the darker places around the Old Quarter. The WiFi is fast too, which matters if you’re trying to get work done or just want to video call home without looking pixelated.

Here’s what I really love about the location – you’re close enough to everything that matters, but far enough from the madness that you can actually sleep at night. Linh Lang street itself is pretty quiet, especially compared to the honking symphony you get closer to Hoan Kiem Lake. There’s a decent coffee shop about two blocks away where locals actually hang out (not just tourists taking Instagram photos), and you can grab real Vietnamese breakfast there. The 9.1 rating honestly makes sense when you add it all up – it’s not perfect, I mean the elevator is a bit slow and you might hear your neighbors occasionally, but for a 4-star place in this part of Hanoi, it delivers on what it promises. If you want to feel like you’re living in the city rather than just visiting it, this is your spot.

  The apartment was comfortable and clean. Apparently, the building has been renovated recently. There is everything you need for a comfortable living. The location is also good – it’s just a 5 minute walk to a shopping center and there are a lot of cafes nearby.

  Everything, the flat is well equipped and conforms to the description. The bathroom is perfect and the bed very comfortable.The terrace is also very pleasant and offers a beautiful view of the neighbourhood. The host is also very responsive.

  The location was in the middle of Japanese street but the accommodation was quiet. Near Lotte Hanoi and many Japanese restaurants. The room was very clean and I could smell good when I stepped in.

  My best experience in Hanoi! The location is great, a lot of shops and cafes around. And the place is just wonderful! Everything is clean, smells great, bedsheets are fresh and soft, two ac, tv. Wonderful! Please keep this place clean after yourself

  Compared to many hotels in Vietnam that I visited during this trip, this one was relatively quiet. During my time there, I was able to get a good night's sleep!
  
  What could be improved: At first, I was concerned when the manager informed me that the apartment I had reserved couldn't accommodate guests due to technical reasons and suggested relocating me to another of their hotels on the neighboring street. I was a bit apprehensive and mentally prepared for the worst, but I was pleasantly surprised to find myself in wonderful, brand new, modern apartments, which in my opinion were among the best in this price range. Everything was very convenient, the furniture was new, and the bed and mattress were perfect in terms of softness and firmness.
