Ben’s Premier Hotel & Apartment – Hanoi Center Overview
First Impressions
Walking into Ben’s Premier Hotel & Apartment – Hanoi Center, you immediately get that “hidden gem” feeling — you know, when you stumble upon something that feels way more polished than you expected. The lobby isn’t flashy, but there’s this clean, modern vibe that tells you someone actually cares about the details here. What really caught my attention was how the staff seemed genuinely happy to see guests, not just going through the motions like at some places.
Perfect Hanoi Positioning
Here’s the thing about location in Hanoi — it’s everything, and this three-star property absolutely nails it. Tucked away on Ngõ Trần Xuân Soạn in Hai Ba Trung district, you’re close enough to the action but far enough from the motorbike chaos that defines the Old Quarter. I mean, couples consistently rate this spot 8.3 out of 10, and honestly, I get why. You can walk to most major attractions without dealing with the tourist crowds right outside your door, plus there’s actual parking here — which, trust me, is like finding gold in central Hanoi.
The Room Experience
The room I stayed in felt more like a well-designed apartment than your typical hotel setup. There’s this thoughtful layout where everything has its place — the kitchenette area is compact but actually functional if you want to grab groceries from the local market. The bed was surprisingly comfortable (sometimes you roll the dice with smaller hotels), and the bathroom had that satisfying hot water pressure that makes you want to stay in the shower longer than necessary. Small touch, but the windows actually open properly, which is refreshing when you want some real air circulation.
Local Neighborhood Charm
What I really appreciated was how this area gives you authentic Hanoi life without the tourist markup. There’s this fantastic local restaurant literally around the corner where the pho costs about 30,000 dong instead of the inflated prices near Hoan Kiem Lake. The neighborhood has that lived-in feeling — families on motorbikes, street vendors who remember your face after a couple days, and those narrow alleyways that make you feel like you’re discovering something special. You’re still only a 10-minute taxi ride from the main sights, but you get to experience how locals actually live.
Why Guests Love It
Look, with a 9.3 rating, this place is clearly doing something right, and after staying here, it makes total sense. It’s that sweet spot where you get genuine value without sacrificing comfort — the kind of place where you’d actually want to hang out in your room instead of just crashing there. The staff knows the area inside and out, so they’ll point you toward the good stuff that guidebooks miss. Plus, having reliable parking in this part of the city is honestly a game-changer if you’re planning any day trips outside Hanoi. It’s not trying to be something it’s not, which somehow makes it better than places that cost twice as much.

Very nice apart-hotel in Hanoi, the staff were very kind and helpful and it was a very good price for nightly rate. Would recommend!
Lidia from Spain – 21 May 2025 (8/10)
New, comfortable and clean with good location.
What could be improved: I didn’t get any cleaning during 3 days stay. Also, the manager was very insistent with payment, which kind of put me off. ☹️Ahmed from Maldives – 15 May 2025 (9/10)
The facility was good. Clean and the owner was very assistive and helpful.
What could be improved: Location was bit far from old town and tourist area.Mark from United Kingdom – 7 May 2025 (8/10)
Location, close enough to the Old/French quarter, and outside enough to feel like you're living amongst the people of Hanoi.
"Ben's Pub", any drink you want, awesome cocktails (mesmerising watching the guy make one), and generally you can choose the music.
Modern rooms, very clean, good AC, and WiFi.
What could be improved: Shower didn't heat, not a big deal.Robin from Germany – 3 May 2025 (8/10)
Great property in a small, quiet street. We have spent 5 nights here and were very happy! The owner was quick to respond, he even organized an airport transfer for us. Clean, neat, you’ve got everything you need.
Leah from Vietnam – 19 April 2025 (9/10)
It is a new modern room with top notch design and layout. The staff is so helpful and friendly. Outside the property, there are lots of local and international eateries, plus coffee shops and convenience stores.
What could be improved: Not a negative – just something to think about – At the time of my stay the room can be a bit cold so be sure to request a heater. The bathroom has a heater light so it is so comfy. Also, the property is on a small alley/street so take note of this when looking for it from your ride.Emily from United Kingdom – 19 April 2025 (10/10)
This is by far one of the nicest rooms we have stayed in in Vietnam! Really close to everything but out of the way from the street noise.
Mischa from Vietnam – 16 April 2025 (9/10)
Great AC, great water pressure, cleaning staff very good – was lucky to find this place on short notice!
What could be improved: Can't think of anything.Rita from United States – 15 April 2025 (10/10)
